Well given your location I can well imagine why you are cold and I would think your summers are short and worth waiting for. I have felt the cold a considerable amount more since losing so much weight and also I think the fact that I lived in Australia for 17 years before returning to New Zealand where the climate is so much cooler, is a big factor. I simply have not re-acclimatized,.
We are beginning winter here in New Zealand now and are experiencing some of the coldest weather recorded since 1918 so I can be forgiven for complaining. I too am into layers, usually three or four. When I have had enough, early evening sees me dashing upstairs to put on my pyjamas, knee length sheep skin lined indoor boots and my fleecy robe.

Unexpected callers have to suck it up.

At my age I think I can do what I like.

Back to feeling cold. Sometimes it feels like ice water is flowing through my veins and I cannot get warm no matter what I do. I am physically fit and in excellent health at the moment. You might mention it to your doctor next visit just to put your mind at rest that you don't have a hidden problem.
