  • Stephaniegee: Right back at you...if you ever need someone to vent to or get that push for encouragement, PM me. I've been there, honey. Much luck to you
  • I know how it feels to feel utterly hopeless and the daily stresses seem to build upon itself until one fears it will all collapse.

Yet deep down we know we need to do something (hence the call for help). Time to come up with some ideas for a change, even if it is a small one. Is your child old enough to participate in learning about food and healthy eating? I taught my grandchildren about cooking and preparing foods, even how to shop for the veggies and fruits and what to look for. They loved it and we would talk about the health and vitality of the foods grown in the sun....it wasn't like a lecture, more about just talking and having fun.

Clean out the house of the foods you have trouble with, or the ones that really have no vital nutrition. Find new recipes and try new foods and new combinations. See if there are any local classes for cooking. Take a walk every day, use a step pedometer and count 10 more steps every day than the day before....map it on a map as though you are walking somewhere...can you make it to Mexico or Canada?

Taking one simple positive action to make a small change can have profound results. Not doing anything will keep us locked in despair. Hugs.
  • Quote: If you ate enough healthy food in the first place you probably wouldn't have the urge for frequent jail-break binges.
While this is definitely true, unfortunately it's not quite so black and white like that for a lot of us. If the solution were just that simple, a lot of us wouldn't have issues with bingeing.

OP - big hugs. PM me if you ever need to talk. I had issues with bingeing in the past, but have gotten it under control...but still fear that the issues will come back. It's a hard thing to work through, but you can do it!
