Hi Chrissy! I like to vary my food as much as possible but here is what I ate today!
Breakfast: 1 cup of oatmeal sweetened with sugar free maple syrup, coffee, 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. Plus water and vitamins/minerals an hour later - Water
Snack: string cheese and 1/2 an orange and more water
Lunch: 2 turkey breast (lunch meat) rollups with 1 slice of Swiss, kosher dill pickle, and a Pepsi One. An hour later- more water.
Skipped snack today, but usually have the other half of the orange, maybe a protein bar, and more water.
Dinner: 1 Pesto chicken sausage, (like the size of a hotdog) 2 red potatoes, tomato and cucumber salad with balsamic vinegar and olive oil for dressing. Finish it up with water.
Dessert: coffee and 1 cup sugar free, fat free chocolate frozen yogurt.
Now, I don't have dessert every night, but I do enjoy the occasional splurge of jello, ice cream or yogurt that are sugar free and low fat or fat free. I also make 'frapacinnos' with my chocolate soy powder (low carb), coffee, a little milk, ice and sweetener.
You can tell that I don't starve myself, I just try to eat small meals and snacks through out the day so I won't get the feeling that I'm hungry. I also do my best to drink all the water I can! I always carry a sports bottle filled with ice water in my car. The water keeps me feeling full, and hydrated.
I like to keep my menu changing all the time so I don't get bored. I'm big on eggwhite omlets in the morning because I can make them different all the time with cheese, onion, mushrooms, salsa, bacon bits, etc.. I make all kinds of salads for myself - ceasar, tomato, mozarela and basil, cucumber- tomato, bean salad, etc.. Only so many green salads I can eat!
I'd love to hear from other people to get more food ideas!!
