I hit goal about 6 weeks ago (yay!) and pounds have been creeping back because of some stuff going on in my life--I now have strep throat for the 3rd time in 3 months and the antibiotics make me queasy as **** unless I nibble constantly. I haven't been able to work out because the strep leaves me exhausted and it's all I can do to handle my job as a special education pre-k teacher.
I have definitely eaten off plan, but have done some good choices--every time a student gave me candy as a gift, I donate it to the teacher's lounge

I want to get back on plan today; while I know I won't be able to work out for another week or so, I can eat better. I am going to give up white flour for a while and see what happens. Most desserts use white flour, and if I think of it as a trigger food, I know I will not eat them. This has worked for fried foods and peanut butter (2 other trigger foods for me).
I have worked too hard to get this body and it deserves to be treated better!
BTW, I have an appt. to see an ENT specialist on Monday. My GP is recommending my tonsils and adenoids be removed because of the strep and constant sinus infections. I'm hoping that helps. You guys don't have to pat my hand--I just want to be accountable to others right now. I would go to an OA meeting, but they are on Saturdays and with the holidays approaching it is too crazy. I will call my sponsor though, and pray/meditate/read my OA books. Thanks guys!
