Binge-free for THREE MONTHS!

  • .
  • your story is so motivational. You've really changed your life for the better. Congrats! It took a lot of courage and strength to leave the abusive bf and the bingeing and i'm sure you are better off for both of them.

You have a lot to be proud of and I am proud of you as well
  • Congratulations to you!!!! I know it's not easy but you have stayed focused and your path. I am so happy for you and wish you nothing but happiness and success in all that you do.

**** for realizing you deserve better and left that abusive relationship****
  • That is simply awesome. You are really an inspiration. I also had 2 bad relationships- my ex and binge eating. (You are SO right, you are much better off without him!!) My weight always yo-yo's, but binge eating is always my weakness. 3 months without binging is... incredible. I can usually last about 2 weeks before I break down from a bad day and eat an entire can of icing (or package of Oreos... or 3 Big Macs... whatever's closest). I am a firm believer that weight gain is about SO much more than the food - and it really sounds like you have the mental part under control, which is just as (if not more) important than the actual diet and exercise.

  • Congrautulatins ! You are wise to do this now when you are young. It only gets harder as you get older.
  • You are my ray of hope. That's an amazing success to go 90 days without a binge. And congrats for ending your abusive relationship. That takes so much courage.

I've conquered my dependency on men, too. I have been single and independent for 6 years now, but unfortunately, I went to food as a substitute. But I went into eating disorder treatment and have been recovering for 2 years. I still have frequent binges, but it's much better than it used to be. And I was able to lose a lot weight.

    Keep posting about your journey.
  • Congrats! It's always wonderful to hear a success story.
  • I am 20 as well and your story is so motivational! I have yet to start a set diet plan (I don't know where to start yet ... pathetic as it sounds!) and reading yours is giving me so much courage! Thank you!
  • Thanks!! You're so sweet. I see you've posted over in the 280s ladies thread. Glad to have you on board! <3
  • well done! i know exactly how you feel about food. im the same. 3 months is a long time when your baisicaly adicited to food, cause its not like you can just cut out food altogether like other addicts can
keep up the good work and you will soon be at your goal weight
  • Good for you Taliee!!!! Stay focused, congratulations!!!
