fruitlady - peanut butter is like my #1 binge food. So good for you for having self-control!! I make myself sick on peanut butter at every binge, so I'm keeping it out of the house for now.

Today was day.. 5 for me. We're having a Thanksgiving pot-luck tomorrow at work. I'm freaking out. But I WILL NOT BINGE.

I'm starting on Day 11 today! I think it should be fine.

I'm kinda surprised that so many people express concerns over binging durning public events...I guess to me, a binge is always private, and I so greatly fear being labeled as "the fat girl", I never, ever binge with others. I may overeat, but not binge. People do define binges differently, so I guess it's not all that surprising, but it just seems totally foreign to me. I usually feel at my saftest when eating with other people!

Day four binge free I think. lol I'm loosing track of time! I ate about 2 tablespoons of Peanut butter today, I stopped myself from eating more. It was real hard cause there was a little left in the jar when I put it away and usually I just finish it off! Since i have been eating a little bit every day I don't lose weight. It's slowly creeping up, 1.5 lbs in 4 days. I need to just keep my hands off!

On Day 12! Woohoo! I just hope I can make it through the weekend...I'm pretty sure I'll be okay next week, as I'm going home to my parents Wednesday for Thanksgiving, and will always be with other people.

Day 20 for me. We have my DH Thanksgiving dinner Sunday. I AM GOING TO MAKE it through it without a binge. I am soooo going to make it until Thanksgiving binge free!

Hi ladyrider, you are doing so good! I wish i was. I messed up today, and ate almost a whole jar of Nutella( a creamy hazelnut, cocoa spread) It's almost as fattening as peanut butter. Since I don't have any peanut butter I went after that instead. I feel so bad, I wanted to be binge free til Thanksgiving, I'm starting day one tomarrow. I will not give up!

Fruitlady -- I'm with ya there, I binged on tons of chocolate today. I feel physically sick from it. :( I'll make a commitment to make it to Thanksgiving too... best of luck to you :hug:

Happy Friday everybody!

Working on Day 14 today. If I make it through the day, which I should, that will make it two weeks binge-free. My last recod was something like 32 days before bingeing on and off for 3 days. Also, the binges were smaller than they used to be in the past. They centered around cookies and cake, though.

I did have a homemade choc chip cookie plus 1/2 of a homemade PB cookie today but that was mostly because I only had 1 fried egg for breakfast due to time constraints so calorie-wise I am OK. I wanted more but refrained. I still feel kind of icky, though. I guess that should teach me to stay away from sugar, period. I am full right now and am having a small healthy dinner in a couple of hours. Staying away from sugar!

Good luck to all of the ladies working on Day 1 today. You are all strong and can and will get through the day without bingeing. I have faith in all of you.

Thanks Skyra, Best of luck to you also. Let us know how your doing. The urges to binge just seem to be more frequent for me right now and I can't figure out why. I think cause I got away with a lot of snacking for a couple days without gaining weight and then you start thinking well maybe i can get away with more snacking. Then that's when i go overboard and end up gaining weight. I would like to lose 2 lbs. before Thanksgiving, so i am not buying any of my favorite or trigger foods for a long while. Ok day 5 done! I had to pour soy sauce on chocolate last night to achieve it, but the important part is I DID!

Day 21 for me. That is not to say that I have not been tempted. Oh, btw..... I finally moved out of the 190s..... wonder if it has something to do with not bingeing?

Peachykeen, you did awesome pouring soy sauce on the chocolate instead of bingeing on it. Whatever it takes, right? ;)

Fruitlady, it sounds like you have a good plan. I know you can stick to it!

Hi chicks, I'm starting day one binge free today, so far so good. I have nothing here that will tempt me and as long as I keep that in mind I will be ok. Cause it has to be pretty darn tasty and a favorite of mine for me to binge on it. I did not buy any of my favorites, so if i just don't buy it, I will be free of temptation. Good luck everyone!

Day 1 finished for me. Still upset that I binged yesterday at all, but oh well. You know what's cool? Today I was at the store and I saw the "impulse" items near the checkout (chips, candy etc.) and I looked at that food... and I didn't feel tempted at all! My eating habits are really changing!
