  • Good Monday morning, chickies! Let's make this a binge-free week. All are welcome!
  • I'd love to join the challenge!!! Its been a long time since I was 'in control' . . . today was Monday here and I have had a great day. Until I saw this thread I must admit I started thinking about what else I can eat, but I shall just zip it!!! And head to bed if I start sneaking around the kitchen.
  • Last week was a success. Count me in for this week!
  • Count me in too! A great way to start the week! I will do fine M-F but Saturday and Sunday is when I need to check in! Its so hard not to over indulge on the weekend!
  • I am going to do better for myself this week. Today is day 1.
  • Day 8 for me!!!! I'm so happy that I got through a 5 day work week AND the weekend!!

Here's to a great week, everyone (one day at a time )!!
  • Day 5 for me, and you bet your bunions I'm in!

My goals for this week is to feel, not act when a certain emotion or feeling arises. Get my daily exercise in. And procrastinate when necessary, lol.
  • I'm in too! Binging is my downfall. I get stressed or sad or angry and I just head to the kitchen. I hate it!
  • Quote: My goals for this week is to feel, not act when a certain emotion or feeling arises.
    Yep!!

Its 7am Tuesday here and all is still good Am going for Day 2!
  • I'm in too! Day 8! Survived last weekend - why are they so darn hard???
  • I'm in! I did not binge today/yesterday( 1 am is always a funny time to post), so that's 1 day for me! I have resisted the chips and turtle Chex mix bars in the house for THREE days now. Not. A. Single. Bite.

Edit: I notice that I said 1 day and then 3 days. My meaning is that I did day 1 of the challenge, 3 days no bingeing regardless of the challenge.
  • Today is day 9 for me!!! This maybe a record. I will do this another week.

Wow, this website has given me the support I never had. I've "dieted" on and off for nearly ten years, and the only thing I never had was support. I this website!!!!

    Edited for spelling error.
  • GlamourGirl - support is sooooooo important in this journey isnt it? I think its making all the difference for me.

Its 10pm and I am counting down to sleepy time so I can check off Day 2. I have had a good day - not perfect but so what, I had 9 months of perfectly controlled days last year that got me to goal and here I am needing help again!

But I have not gorged on anything and did not stop at the shops on the way home from work and buy things that I dont need, nor did I speed dial Domino's . . . so this has been a good day. Slowly but surely I will also add in better choices during the day too.

Hope everyone has a great Tuesday!!

  • Well, this is day 12 for me. Doing the fast 5 really limits my opportunity to binge. I had a terrible and stressful day. It's funny how the stress level is usually gone by 5 pm anyways, because most issues during the course of the day are resolved. But I had issues with registering for classes, issues with paying bills, and because I was fasting--all I had to deal with the issues was my emotions...no food to munch while working on a problem. I did yard work on an empty stomach, I even shopped for 3 hours at walmart (stressful for me) on an empty stomach, by the time dinner came I was truly HUNGRY. It feels good to be hungry and know it is NOT emotional hunger. I also made us a spaghetti dinner. It was delicious. I could have eaten 3 plates. But I did have 1 small plate and 1/2. I got really full off drinking 2 glasses of green tea in a row though. So I might think I ate more than I did. Still I did not binge. I even skipped dessert.
  • Awesome job

    What is Fast 5 Jen?
