Okay, I'm in!

Today I woke up with a great attitude and a strong commitment... even after a weekend of binging... well, luckily not the whole weekend... I call them " my 30 hours of folly"

but I decided to let it all behind my shoulders!
I found this trick... let's fake I've been to a wedding party where I "had" to eat... once in a lifetime! so I don't have any guilty feelings now and I can start again (and I don't want any other "wedding party" for a while... I hope a LONG while )

So, today went just fine (it's evening now here)... let's hold this for the whole week!

Today was day 10 for me. I have an event coming up on July 10 and I want a flat belly, so no bingeing!

maybe at lunch I ate a little piece of cake which wasn't "allowed", but after that I didn't binge and I even ate less in the evening"

Day 16. :3

I've been pretty good, no binging.

I have been noticing that instead of binging, I've been allowing myself to overeat. Like last night I had a bag of cookies. No super big guilt that pushes me into binging, but it did make me feel a little guilty since I didn't need a bag of cookies. I shrugged it off though, and I'm eating just a wee bit less today. Has anyone else done that? o_O I still feel like I'm making progress, but the overeating every now and then during the week is like my way of slowly becoming binge free.

This is a thread for me! I climbed back on the wagon Mon June 15th, and so far, no binges! Thanks to being able to flood this message board with posts. If I'm typing, my hands are too busy to be eating!!

Ok so I'm off to bed, binge free today! That's 3 days!
I hope this thread is every week, because I'm going to neeeeeeeeeeeed it!
I'll be back tomorrow evening, to report another binge free day! (I hope) And I expect the same from everyone else!!

May I reccomend stumbleupon.com if you ever need a distraction? That's what I do, and then I end up finding some really neato stuff in the process. (Or rofling over stuff in the humor stumbleupon option... Who can really binge while they're too busy laughing themselves to tears? lol)

Thank you, bucketwithapurpose! And I think I know what you mean... Instead of binging I've tried to work in a habit of "planned indulgences," but sometimes I worry that I'm being TOO lenient with myself, heh. I mean, I can tell that it's not a "binge" because there's no desperation or emotional frenzy involved; it's just eating for the pure enjoyment of the delicious food, which I think is totally ok every once in a while... But ONLY every once in a while, not like every couple of days like I've been doing lately! Heh. But hey, it's like you said, as long as you're moving towards becoming binge-free, you're making progress!

I will have to try that. So far so good, but its early yet. For me, the binge always strikes in the evening. Let the witching hours begin!!!
