I've been in withdrawal all day! Traumatic Day 86 today with no 3FC!

Well today has been mixed for me. 1.5 lbs lost for my weigh in today; but I have been completely off plan and my eating is out of control.

Alas, I am determined to begin fresh tomorrow. I can finally go back to power walking, and that tends to keep me on track a lot more.

Okay here's a quick summary of my last post:

- thank you for the compliments! Personally I'm just glad that Blod was positioned to detract attention from my thighs. I could be onto something here - new range of ultimate slimming accessories - carry puppies around, I guarantee no-one will be sizing up your butt! ££££!

- I gained 1lb at home - then had a formal dinner here and I ate it all - bread rool, after-dinner mint and all. Bad me! But back on the wagon now, and didn't gain any more as ended up traipsing round Cambridge half the night because a certain young gentleman of my acquaintance wanted to see a film, and there weren't any on, and we ended up back at his watching 'The Bourne Ultimatum' on DVD.

And I can now add - I am a 3fC addict! O God the withdrawal! Hope everyone is recovering from the crash and is feeling good today x

Tyler, thanks for asking about my Mom and Dad. Unfortunately, they are still kind of in limbo. My Dad had a biopsy on the thyroid thing last week, and he is waiting for results. The good news for him is that the growth is contained on the thyroid, so his prognosis is good even if it's a malignancy.

My Mom had an appt. with her cancer doc last week to discuss her latest test results and next steps. Something got screwed up at the lab and the blood didn't get analyzed in time. So she had to get another blood test on Thurs. and based on the results, they'll decide what to do.

I think waiting is the hardest part. Of course, I haven't had to go through surgery or chemo, either.

Okay here I am on my new and improved day one

Me23- glad you are back on track.

Josephine - ahh a test of your will to be without 3fc!

WardHog- woohoo for day 26! I still cannot fathom that for myself, but it would be awesome. I am so sorry about the illness of your parents. How very difficult. You are all in my prayers.

I finally was able to walk again today! I did it early before the heat got ridiculous from our horrible heat wave.

I went for a bra fitting at this foo-foo place that does excellent fittings as my 10 lb reward. I spent way too much of course. However, I have a bunch of food in our freezer that I couldn't use last week wit DH being out of town, so maybe I can cut our grocery budget this week as a trade off.

Withdrawal was awful! I literally had a mini panic attack on Friday with no 3FC. Sheesh - such compulsive behaviour, LOL...

Anyway - today at the family lunch I felt I was getting a little out of control and although I didn't eat more than I should have - I felt it coming so I got up to wash dishes. I actually spent a lot of time paying attention to the little ones - and that kept me away from any unwanted eating.

Now I really fancy some nachos but I think that may be a little calorie heavy for today. I don't know.

Glad you guys are all doing good..
Wardhog - sorry to hear about your parents - wishing you good news.

Leigh - happy to hear you're back on track!

Jude - I'm with you on the withdrawal!! Couldn't wait to turn my computer on tonight and see what was going on!

Josephine - what's your official count now?!

Day 21 for me. Cheers.

Good morning all Day 2 begins for me.

Miriam - WTG with not going off the deep end yesterday!

I am about to go to church. There is a series of writing classes at church this summer that I am taking - spiritual writing. I am very much looking forward to it!

enjoy the rest of your weekend, all.

I have a religious holiday and will be off until tomorrow night.

Wish me luck in successfully keeping OP as this is a holiday heavily centered around FOOD!

I did all my planning, but still.... the lure of chesesecake.......

Niiiice run Wardhog! You get whatever you want after that!

Everybody continue to persevere through the holidays and temptations and rough patches! We can do it!

Day 88 here and I'm feeling really good! What is interesting is that ever so slowly the things that used to tempt me terribly seem to be losing their hold. The longer I abstain from them completely, the less they have any power over me, which is just phenomenal. Weekends used to be a special torture because my DH always goes off plan and I always struggled with longings for the junk he was eating. But these last couple of weekends I haven't even wanted what he had, and was really happy with my chioces! It is hard for me to believe that this can be true, but it is. I may never even try to add back certain foods into my meals even as "treats" -- who really NEEDS potato chips or stuff like that -- because why have to struggle to portion out those items when NOT eating them is getting so much easier!

WardHog- wow!! nine miles is so impressive.

Miriam- I hope you have a good holiday!

Josephine- your insights are so amazing! It seems incomprehensible to me, but of course I have only just begun the no binge attempt. But if what you say is true, I look forward to that phase in my life someday.

I am happy to report that today I am doing very well (surprising for a Sunday). I got really worried for a bit when DH and I went to brunch at a place we do not normally eat. The menu was extremely fattening, but I managed to eat only half of the portion given and stayed well within my points, so I was happy about that.
