Default 100 Cheat Free Day Challenge

Hi I am challenging myself to 100 days of living LC, cheat free. I would love to have others join me in this challenge. I did this challenge on another LC site and got up into the 60s but didn't make it to 100. Some of the other people in that challenge were working past 100 to 200.

For me cheat free is to keep my carbs under 20 per day with an occaional 30 carbs per day (on weekends).

I just started LCing again after a 2 month break. I gained 4 pounds during my break. I am currently on day 9 of being back on LC. Unfortunately as of yesterday(last time I weighed) I have not lost any weight. I have been pretty good, maybe a few too many LC sweet treats. I am going to buckle down and stick to it and I know the scale will be heading down soon.

Hoping for some LC comrades (or any type of healthy eating style) to join and share in this challenge!

Best LC wishes to all! Sara

this sounds interesting but I think I'd have to shoot for 50...or maybe 25 or 10...little steps...

I'd be in though, I am a challenge addict

I will join you with 100 day cheat free days. I need to keep my carbs at 40 though since I am on maintenance at this level. I just reached goal and want to maintain, not really lose more than 5 lbs. This could help me to maintain and I am always up for a challenge.

I'm up for it.

Haven't cheated yet. lol
My goal is to keep it under 25 per day. I'm tracking it in FitDay and so far, so good.

I've added a ticker.

I like what bnbsmommy1 wrote...I need small steps, too! But count me in! I have a birthday party this weekend and 3 days of training ahead of me (in Washington D.C.), so maybe this will keep me from slipping...I will check in again on 7/20.

I'll start by trying to get through this weekend. As I didn't do well tonight (with a cookie) I'll count tomorrow as 1. And if I make it through both Sat. & Sun. I'll consider it an ENORMOUS success and shoot for longer. But for now, it's induction for 2 days

I'm up for the challenge. I actually re-started induction phase last week and today makes day 8 for me. I've been cheat-free for the past 8 days.

Hi everyone, I am so glad you are all in on the challenge. I'll start a running total of cheat free days for everyone soon.

I had a challenge last night. I went out of town to visit my father. My stepmom made a shepards pie casserole as the main dish. I really could have selected only the meat and cheese sections and done ok, but I just ate it all. Of course after I had done that , I couldn't resist dessert as well. The good news is that I jumped right back on LC today. I thought it would be difficult, but it felt today like I had never gotten off it.

I'll have to call today #1 for me. I am going up to visit again in two weeks and will be prepared to pick out only the LC sections if the meal is like that again (she usually cooks LC dishes). Live and learn, and keep on trying.

LC wishes to all! Sara

Sara, I did the same thing one time. I was at the local cafe and they were having a "meat and cheese casserole". I ordered it with a salad and when it came, the bottom layer was mashed potatoes, the top of ham, cheeses and peppers and onions. I took a bite, and ate it all. I felt a little guilty but got right back on program and it worked out Ok. It's hard to turn down everything all the time.

I'm in! I'm just re-starting Atkins after falling off the wagon.

If I'm counting correctly, 100 days from now will be November 1st. I should be Skinny Minnie by then!

...yeah, right.

Default Five days down...

...or, as occurred to me today, 5% or 1/20th of this challenge completed! ^_^

Sometimes it's easier for me to break things down into different mathematical views; "5 percent done" sounds less intimidating than "95 days left!" Or is that just me?
