Default Atkins vs South beach

I really want to start one of these but not sure which. I have been bouncing around but I think this would be best because my DH follows it anyways .
I am tired of making his and her lunch and dinners.
Which do you think is best or what is the difference.
Thanks

I chose Atkins to start because it works faster and I have SO much weight to loose. I figure a year on Atkins vs. 18 months on SB. I may move to SB when I've lost what I want to loose because there are more options long term, but really the best one is the one you'll be able to stick to

I'd go with Atkins...I just recently chose to actually and this is my second day. It's going great and like Tennessee said, you do lose weight quicker on Atkins as aposed to South Beach. I started off doing Slim Fast, then once my weight loss came to a stand still, I switched over to Atkins, and you could do the same thing with SB once you need a change.

I chose Atkins because South Beach was very new when I decided to eat low carb. I might try South Beach after I reach goal for maintenance. Good luck with whichever you choose. Just make sure you read the book.

I have done both. I can't do South Beach because I cannot eat any whole grains. Atkins does show a faster weight loss, but South Beach allows you to eat fruit after the first two weeks.

I chose atkins, because south beach has too many "trigger" foods for me.

......besides, low carb works best for me. South Beach isnt low carb.

I go for the best easiest to follow and atkins I can do. no figuring no fighting and no cheating with a small amount like you can eat one potatoe chip. I know atkins (protien power) like the back of my hand so it is a no brainer for me)

I agree with Sue. It is just that it is easy.

Yep, I agree with Sue too...I've known and done Atkins for such a long time and know that it works....it just comes naturally to do it.
