New to diet

  • I have tried so many, many, many, diets in the past and they have all failed. I really want to try a low carb diet because from looking what I eat during the day, its pretty much all carbs. I am a vegan but I am giving myself two weeks off to switch to a low carb vegetarian diet to see if I lose weight. If I dont, then back on to the vegan lifestlye. Both my parents did the Atkins before and lost a lot of weight.I am really praying this works for me because I am so sick of yo-yo dieting. If anyone can give me any advice, please do! Thank you!!
  • I have know several vegan low carbers before and they have had success, I will say most of us are carnivours, so I hope we do not gross you out. (the doc at my NH is a vegan and I keep teasing him about my hunk of steak or yummy chicken, and he grosses out on me) We will be here to suport you in what ever way we can.

  • nah people who eat meat don't gross me out, it's their choice. I am not sure on all the things a vegan can eat on a law carb diet, seems harder, so I'm going back to being just a vegetarian. I can't wait to get started and I can't wait to lose the weight!!!! Thank you for the support.
