Sandra: Welcome :)

Susan: Amazing what "oops" comes out from companies, isn't it?

Wendy: Sounds like you have a plan for the fries!! WTG on the weight loss--no matter WHAT time of day it is :)

Katie: I've not seen the movie. WTG on staying away from a food you used to eat all the time. THAT is a major accomplishment!!

Falon:  How's it going?

Sue: I'll send you a drive-by wave

Well, eating wise I did good yesterday (well, probably didn't eat enough or often enough. Just wasn't hungry). I didn't exercise--DH decided if my back/hips hurt I shouldn't exercise until it's better. Water intake stunk. 1 out of 3 instead of bombing all 3 isn't bad. Baby steps for me :)

Robin - WOW! What a cool husband you have!!! I had to beg and beg before I got mine!! If you get the chance, grab an armband to put it in (the reebok brand works awesome). You'll wonder how you ever lived without it!! I've got a whole 'walking' playlist set up with all of my favorite fast songs to walk with in the morning. You're gonna LOVE IT!!

Katie - I love that movie too, had to go out and buy it so I wouldn't forget how bad it all is

hockeyfan - glad you're gettin' back on the wagon, wtg!

Welcome Sandra, hope you love it here!!

It seems I've gained and weigh 183 today. I'm going to fast and then eat only eggs tomorrow so I can get into a nice ketosis, I can't keep cheating like I have.

so much to do so little time!! have an awesome day girls!!

Morning Ladies - :coffee:

Looks like it's going to be one of those busy days. I had the unfortunate event of climbing into bed only to find that a cat peed on my quilts!! That wasn't fun.. they've never been known to do that, but I suspect someone got locked in there at some point in the day. *sigh*

That was gross! So my morning will consist of washing everything and then head out to the rec center so the kids can swim and i'll head upstairs to the gym in hopes of some excersise. :lifter: That's the plan anyhow. *crossing fingers* Then run my 10 other arrands, and call it a day.

Sherry: ONE DAY AT A TIME FRIEND! That's all you can do... Don't beat yourself up, but if you know that it could cause a chain reaction, work on your level of strictness. I know for me, it would be over if I faultered.. So I have to be a lot harder on myself. :^: You can do it! Your success thus far, says you can!!!

Talk to everyone later... Better get those quilts in the wash! *shudder*

Could have done better

Well yesterday I didnt have anything that I wasnt supposed to BUT I did eat more than I should have. I think I was eating out of sheer bordem. Kinda disappointed myself, but I am doing better today. I trying to get use to this new work schedule and I am going to try and make it to the gym in the mornings cause I am too tired to go in the evenings right now.

Ok weigh at the same time everyday and in the mornings is usually better.:carrot:

How is everyone else doing today so far?

I worked at McDonalds all through high school and I really just cant stand their food anymore, but honestly doing this diet, I dont crave those foods, and if I find myself wanting to go out for fast food, it is more out of habit than actually wanting the food.

Like they say, habits are made to be broken! :) They say after 30 days (i think it's 30) of changing a bad habit into something good, or what ever the case may be, you will change it for life. I think that also goes along with food. It's changing the old habits into the new ones. :dizzy: Did that make sense? Guess I better head over to the rec center now. LOL

Katie, gluten is a protein found in wheat, oats, barley and rye. For those of us who have Celiac disease consuming anything with those products in it damages the cillia in the small intestine. Those cillia are what cause you to absorb the nutrients in the food you eat as well as from the vitamins and supplements you take.

If you have Celiac and consume anything with gluten, you can get a whole host of nasty symptoms. Mine was severe anemia and severe fatigue. It's especially bad in children because many get major malnutrition and people have died.

Falon, I'm missing carpet on my stair landing going down to the basement because of my kitty peeing on it. We later found out she had a urinary tract infection which damaged her kidneys. By the time we caught it, we were too late for her. She was almost 12 years old though.

I'm drinking the water today. I went back to the gym after 11 days off with this nasty cold that won't go away and I could only get 30 minutes on the treadmill at a 2.4 mph pace. I thought I was going to just die. Normally I get 60 minutes at 2.8. I want this to be gone!!!!

Good Afternoon :coffee:

Falon~ oh :( that would be horrible! Hopefully the smell wont stay in your comforters.

Brenda~ 1 out of 3 isnt bad.....get the straw out and get the water in. I think your dh is right about the exercise. You dont want to push it to a point where you will be doing damage.

Lacey~ I just cant do the all egg thing ....Ive attempted it, but there is just no way  have that gag reflex kicking in when Im on my 4th or 5th egg. Good Luck to you tho.......you can do it! As for the ipod, I think dh has secretly wanted one, and this was his way of getting one  I havent wanted the big ones with the screens and stuff....so this little one seemed perfect, and when I told him Id like one of these ones, he jumped on it  strange creatures these men! I know he's also thrilled that he doesnt have to think about b-day presents now...he's done. He even offered today, to get my card and give it to me tomorrow, so he will be sure not to miss it! Yah, not thanks

Sue~

We have had a busy morning already. This is the first Ive had a chance to check online and my emails. Im off to go workout in a little bit. I need to wait until I have to p again. I know....weird! :D

Oh!! I broke up the dust bunnies yesterday!!! Even got ambitious and waxed my kitchen floor! :cb: all nice and shiney now :D

Ok, well thats about it in my little corner of the world......have a great day ladies.

RobinW 02-21-2006 01:31 PM

Hiya Hockey...take it easy. It seemed to take me almost 2 weeks to get up working out where I should be. Id workout one day, then have to take the next day off and nap in the afternoon. So, go slow ...Im glad you're feeling better.

lady_adnerb 02-21-2006 02:12 PM

I have decided it's time to become a lurker.

SherryA 02-21-2006 02:46 PM

Brenda DON'T you DARE! You stay right here and contribute. When we are having difficulty is when we need the support the most. Celebrate your successes. You've come a long way and done great. Success isn't always seen in day to day progress, but even maintaining or continuing to try is success.

hockeyfan7 02-21-2006 04:05 PM

OK, what's a lurker? It sounds kinda like something icky - you know - like those guys who hang out in shopping malls checking out women's butts or something like that.

RobinW 02-21-2006 04:09 PM

You cant Brenda...........cuz Id see those pointy boobs anywhere!! :lol3:

Comeon, moving to lurkdom should tell you something.

Ive thought about this many times......but you know what??? Im turning 41 flippin yrs old in 2 weeks, and Im NOT going to be fat and unhealthy for the 2nd half of my life. So Im not going to give up. Its hard, oooooooh I know how hard it is, and we all get so tired of thinking about it all the time. Those who say it will come naturally eventually, and it will be easy....well in a nutshell, they are full of crap!! Ive been eating this way for 6 yrs....and I still have to think about it.

BUT... I have decided that I can still (and do) loose weight when I eat lower carb, but dont sweat the small stuff. Dh and I had a very long talk about this...and as long as you are working at it, the weight will come off.

Don't be so hard on yourself!

Falon 02-21-2006 06:18 PM

LURK?? WHY?? I enjoy reading your posts!!!! You better stay lady!! Don't make me do my ugly cry. It's not a pretty site... *lower lip quivering*:sp:

ilovemike4alwayz 02-22-2006 07:30 AM

I know that I am new here, but dont give up. I want the chance to get to know everyone.

bnbsmommy1 02-22-2006 09:31 AM

so it's egg day for me and I haven't been able to find my 'fat book' (journal) ANYWHERE!!! Where could that thing be hiding!! I have so much to do today and I'd rather just crawl in bed.

Watched the dukes of hazard last night, it was really an awful movie, it was so dirty and all they did was cuss in it and I'm a cusser myself but the DUKES OF HAZARD DIDN'T CUSS!!! lol They just didn't bring out any of the old show in this movie and I'm jealous of the new Daisy :dizzy:

Have an awesome day girls!!

Lacey
