Good Morning

Tenn~ alright, Im just glad everything is ok :) I picked up my pants at Kmart. If you still have one near you, they were in the section over by the socks! I had also found similar pants at marshals, but kmart was cheaper ;)

Finally!! Im feeling so much better!! Yesterday was a very strange day, I slept about 12.5 hrs woke up with a wicked nasty headache, and lungs full of crud! I made sure I ate properly and today I think Im finally coming out of the fog. Seemed like every time I thought I was getting better, something would knock me out by the afternoon.

Tomorrow I plan to start at the gym....Ive had the membership for a week :lol: they have a couple classes that I want to check out. Wont be too bad for my lungs, Im still not able to do any cardio, or even fast walking. So I thought I could get back to the weights, and a few toning classes.

Well ladies have a great day...tomorrow starts a new week!

I was so excited yesterday. I went to Wal-Mart and got sweaters on sale for $5 and a pair of sweatpants for $5 and a pair of pants and a cute sweatjacket for $7. The exciting part was not the prices. The exciting part was that I bought 18/20 sizes instead of 22/24!!! And I can ALMOST zip up my size 20 jeans. About another 1/2 inch and I'll be there.

So to celebrate, I got a pedicure. I now have bright screaming GREEN toes. It's not sandal season here -- it's freezing cold -- so no one but me and DH will see them anyway.

Hey everyone I just started low carb about 2 1/2 weeks ago and found that it took me the better part of those two weeks to get over the cravings now I still get them a little if I wait to long to eat or get tired. Some of it is still adjusting to the "I can't have it" sydrome. I have lost 14 lbs but I am not counting the first 10 because of water weight.

Not counting the first 10? Honey I count EVERY ounce! I weighed it, I lost it and I'm darn well COUNTING it! What I don't always do is to count the water gained back when I go off the diet or have a high water day (due to salt or other things!) but I sure count it when it leaves!

coffeeaddict~ :welcome3: and I spotted this in your siggy cheer me on - push me and DON'T let me make excuses and I thought to myself....good for her!!! My dh doesnt let me make excuses or justifications for my bad eating habits.....so, I'll be able to help you there! :lol: Hey, and WTG on the 14lbs. Yes count the first 10....why not? If you were on WW or some other diet, those first 10 wouldnt have come off nearly as quickly as they did eating this way....so count away girly! :carrot:

wow, did y'all know there are over ONE HUNDRED carbs in an order of sonic onion rings?

I don't know why but I keep thinking about that. Before starting atkins, the onion rings were my 'thing'. very weird.

Hockeyfan - Way to go!!! It feels so great to be in a different size!!

Robin - I'm glad you're starting to feel better. Very exciting about the gym membership, I hope you're able to go a LOT this year :D Besides working at the clinic a little I also have a job from home (like Tenn)...it's super fun and so easy to get into! I've had an internet business for about 4 years now...it's definitely worth looking into if you're wanting to stay home with the kiddos.

Tenn-ya know, you can always do the 3 day egg thing if you're REALLY stalled :devil: Thanks for sharing about the calestinicks tape (sp?). I think that might be something I'd like to try. Good luck getting out of your slump, I know you can do it!! Guzzle that water, girl!! :hug:
