Default Tuesday Chat 7/12

Well, my good intentions went out the window last night. So today is a brand new day. I've asked DH to help me....so if I reach for a carb snack he's going to tell me to rethink that option. Haven't stepped on the scale today. I need to get more water into me also. Noticed I only had 2 glasses of water yesterday. So definitely need to work on that!

Hi Brenda... I feel like every day I can improve on the previous day. I have been drinking about 96 ounces a day, which is not enough really. ANd I realzied last nite that I had only had about 4 carbs all day ... have to watch that! It has gotten easier and easier to avoid them, and I guess I just forgot to eat some.

I eat bacon and eggs or an omlet every morning now, and I wish I could find something else that I could enjoy. I find now if I just wait till I am hungry to eat I don't mind eating the bacon and eggs.

I wonder if anyone else feels like their chest is heavy or feels like the ventricles to their heart is getting clogged with all the butter and fat you eat. I have been calling my doc for a check up, but have had no luck getting em on the phone.

Kathy: I don't think we need to worry about clogging up our arteries and stuff. My opinion is that being overweight in the first place is what's straining my heart. The veggies I eat are an improvement over everything else I was eating. But that's JMO. I eat eggs and sausages for breakfast. And agree---wish there was something else I could switch that with to make a variety of it.

I'm not headachy (as much) or as tired today. Might be because I slept in But I've still got the night time munchies to get through. That's the hardest part for me right now. I'm waiting for the "I'm really not hungry but HAVE to eat" stage again. That and the energy. Well, off to drink some water (haven't even had a glass today).
