  • Good Morning!
Good Morning Leenie and all to come

    Sonnet~ nice to see you

My brother and sil came to visit yesterday. We had a great visit, took them to rochester for ribs and got caught up on all the family news!

Today will be a quiet day, out for coffee in a minute, then back to the house and maybe putter in the garden. I have to do something about the mushrooms that shouldnt be growing in my garden.

    Have a great day ladies
  • Leenie:

Robin: Sounds like you had a nice time!!

Once again I need to lay off the soda so I can get my water intake in. Seems I'm not drinking the water I need. ARGH!!!!! Off for another busy day!!!
  • Leenie:

Robin: Good luck with those pesky mushrooms.

Brenda: I haven't been drinking much water lately, either, but I get in tons of iced tea. Hope that counts for something.

I have been eating OP -- even though it's been tough. Because of TOM, I have been wanting sweets. Last night I about gave in to something sugary, but remembered I could make some cinnamon-Splenda pork rinds. Not exactly what I wanted, but they took care of the sweet urge.

I need to get back to the gym. I haven't been because I was traveling for work. I hate disruptions to the routine!

Speaking of work, it's been busy and stressful. I am starting to look at other jobs, but that makes me even more busy and stressed. I hate cover letters (even though I am a writer) -- they take me forever! Hopefully, something better will come up.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

    Take care,
    Jina
  • Jina: I'm dreading having to eventually look for a job. Been thinking of applying at the local grocery store. Then again, they're also hiring at the boat landing for a person to run the bait shop. Before you say EWWW it sounds like a blast!! But the only thing is I don't know how I'd do that and get my kids on the bus for school. I need to find a stay-at-home job (well, one that PAYS )!!!

Well, the pool is STILL filling up but it doesn't have much to go so I just let the girls play in it. Now I've got the filter all hooked up and running and chlorine dropped in to get rid of the slimyness. Might just hop in there later myself. Need to get me a floatie Maybe I should start making the LC iced tea....at least I'd be getting a form of water, right?!?!
  • Brenda: See, that's a problem, too. My job currently is out of my apartment. I don't know if I can go back to an office! But, as good as working at home sounds, there are some downsides -- like no human interaction, lack of motivation, distractions (laundry, cleaning, playing on the Internet), etc. Of course, it's quite handy most of the time...
  • Jina,

I aw yor post about cinnamon pork rinds. How do you make those?? One of my favorites is the the cinnamon twists from tacobell, so maybe this will be a close alternative.

    THankS!
