Nikki: No, the day wasn't really less stressful, but before I left I was able to get a state report submitted so that is one load off my back. The district has decided to make some changes in the boundary areas of some of our schools so it's going to be a big job for our department to get it all straight. I'll be working on that for the next couple weeks at least as well as doing my regular work :dizzy: Hope your weather starts to get nicer. If it does, send it our way. We're having rain and cold too.

Anne: How did your lunch go? Sometimes you just have to give in to your cravings or you'll eat everything else because you're not satisfied. Last night I wanted chocolate so bad and there's none in the house. I did worse because I ate a bunch of stuff that I didn't really want. Would have been better off having a piece of chocolate. Which by the way I got today. My supervisor bought some sunflower seeds coated with chocolate and some kind of bright hard shell. They were small but just enough to give me the taste that I wanted :D

Ali: I answered your PMs. You do realize that you're the only one of us that is enjoying the weather ;) Please don't tell us that you're out in the hot tub until we get into the 70s:D Gee, I was really impressed all this time that you could keep your choices at 5gm of sugar, you've shattered your image:lol: Does your DH miss working for himself? I know that you said he's working, but I'm not sure what he's doing. I hope that you're able to get a good night's sleep tonight. But gosh, all of you are such early birds...not me. I wake up naturally at about 7:30 so getting up for work can be a little bit of a chore especially in the winter when it's dark :p

One more day til the weekend, tra la la!

DH was talking to our next door neighbor yesterday afternoon and our neighbor mentioned that he had a Bob Cat in his yard lying under one of the trees he had just planted, probably waiting for a mid afternoon snack to come out of the scrub brush. That's a little too close for comfort, so I'm going to start taking Lacee out on a leash. We do have a chain link fence surrounding our property and we usually let her out loose with one of us close on her tail.

Sorry you all are having such horrible weather. I know what it's like to have rain for days, even weeks on end, then to have it slowly move out, then some sort of glitch and it backs itself up, rains a few more days, then finally leaves. Sometimes I was ready to slit my throat!

Anne, how was your lunch and did you have the fries? I hope you did and you throughly enjoyed them. It really is better to give into your cravings because sometimes you start feeling deprived and as Kate mentioned, your not as satisfied. We deserve a treat now and then.;)

Nikki, since I wasn't able to take a nap yesterday afternoon, I certainly slept well last night. That must've been a relief to find out that both types of tacos have the same amount of points.

Kate, it sounds like you have a busy time ahead of you at work and you'll be glad when the weekends come. I'll save my hot tub stories until next Jan./Feb. when you're buried under 6' of snow and it's 20 below.:lol: :lol: Yep, I shattered my image :D and I also made myself crazy looking at the grams of sugar on the label :dizzy: Then when I read I should be looking at the ingredients, I was ready to kick myself. But, I still go by that rule when I use salad dressings. DH has a part time job at Staples. He really likes it. I'm surprised because he's a very quiet person, hardly uttering 2 words to people. Now, he has to deal with the public and he enjoys it. Who knew?? :?: He says he doesn't miss working for himself because machining was a dirty job. He has no desire to start his own shop again, or even work for someone else doing the same thing.

Well, we have started to remodel the house. DH is taking off the siding off the back right now. We went up to the big city and bought a window. We tore out the old window and the new one does fit, so we are very happy about that. Now, he will remove all the siding from that side, take out the other two windows and tomorrow, or the next day, we will go buy the supplies for that side and get started on putting it up. It is going good so far, and I'm excited to have windows that don't have to be proped up with sticks. Gosh, am I a hillbilly or what:lol: ?
This is only the beginning and it will be years before we are done, but when it's all done, the whole house will be redone, inside and out.
OH shoot, I need to go help DH, talk to you all later, Nikki
