Good Morning!
I'm on my second cup of coffee and DH has gone to the chiropractor (SP) so this time is mine. Got tons of work to do today if this ole body can hold up to it. Someone was talking about organizing the other day and that's number one priority for me right now. I feel as if I need to get rid of 2/3 of my household goods to be clutter free. Also am trying to get things bought (since all the sales are on) for our trip to Fla. in September. DH needed new bathing trunks and some clothes that weren't ratty to play golf in and I just needed something that looked decent. Don't want to spend much because I want to shed this winter layer of fat.
I really need to concentrate harder on Atkins or look for something just a little different. Noticed this morning DH was weighing and he said it wasn't coming off either, so will be hunting for a new lifestyle to try today.

Good morning ladies,

well it is back to the grindstone today, went to my boss' baby shower yesterday, she is a brave woman in her & her DH in their 50's and adopting 18 month old siblings from Russia. Crazy but they always thought they couldn't adopt cause when they finally gave up trying to have a baby they were in their 40's and thought adoption agencies would think they were too old. But then a friend of theirs adopted from Russia and they got started, it has been 2 years and they are finally leaving for Russia on August 1st. I can't wait to see the babies.

My 2 and 1/2 yr old son has been shall we say "trying" that would be the nice way to say it...hahahaha So I was actually happy to go to the shower and leave him at home with daddy......DH was not happy though but tough noogies for him!! The child has been an evil temper tantrum boy since we took away his bink (pacifier) 3 weeks ago.....urgh

Good morning Everyone! Hope everyone is having a great Monday! I slept in late this morning and am still a little sluggish. Maybe it will pass soon! Nothing much going on here today, just another day at work! Think I may come home this afternoon and take a nap! Feel like I could use one now! Well, gonna get ready for work! Lowlow - It can be frustrating to not see the changes as quickly as we would like, but it's all part of the process of re-learning how to eat and take care of your body.

Mrs H - I've been the nap queen lately. I think it's this wonderful hot weather we've been having in Oregon. Take an extra nap for me!

Jane - HA! Someone else's turn for the hangover - finally!

My weekend was not nearly long enough and since it was over 100 on Friday and Saturday, I was pretty much a slug all weekend. I was either lounging around or playing in my friend's pool. People have now seen me in a bikini The only problem was that my butt must have shrunk since buying the thing because it was all saggy in the backside *sigh* better than being too tiny, right?

Saturday night was a birthday party at the bar so we all dressed up a la the 80's. It was very fun and, of course, ended up with just a tiny bit of bad girl behavior

Now I'm trying to stay rested while keeping up on housework, exercise, and eating. Wednesday is rock fest so I'm trying to get a good tan so I don't fry like the little white marshmellow that I am when I'm out in the sun all day. Then next Saturday is Red Bull's Flugtag! I'm so excited!!! Anyone else from around here going?

Star: A bikini?!? You are awesome! That is my goal... some day.

I was on a business trip Wednesday-Friday of this past week. I had to stay at the Four Seasons in Palm Beach... it was rough!

This weekend was so much fun! On Friday I went with a friend to a single A baseball game. Single A baseball is great because you can actually afford to buy a beer without taking out a loan. Plus, this stadium has a tiki bar in left field that stays open after the game -- it's great.

On Saturday, I went shopping with a friend. She is watching her carbs and has lost 40 pounds this year, so she needed some clothes that actually fit her. I didn't buy anything. I want to try and wait to buy too many more clothes until I lose some more weight. Later that night, we went out to a karaoke bar with another friend. That was the most fun I'd had in awhile -- karaoke is so amusing! Every once in awhile, they would stop the karaoke, blow a whistle and start playing booty-shake music. All of the waitresses would get up on the bar and dance. It was so humorous! They were lots of interesting people there. I got hit on by both men and women!?

Anyway, it's Monday now -- yuck! All the fun is over. I've got lots of exciting work to keep me busy...

Relatively slow weekend here! I have an unexpected houseguest, my stepmom, once removed. Ok, so my dad's second wife. (He is currently on his 3rd.) Anyway, it has been nice. The boys really enjoyed it and I really have enjoyed the visit as well. I am on my own again tonight, because dh has a side job, so we are in for a boring night of playing "mom chase the kids around the house and try to keep it clean". It will be fun. Acutally, Sunday we all ended up in the kitchen dancing to 60s music. It was fun!!

I'm fighting off the munchies and emotions. I started taking hormones (fertility drugs) over the weekend and they have a tendency to make me gain a few pounds. But so far I've on had a major whoosh and lost 5 pounds!!! I"m not complaining. Ok, maybe a little. They have also made me teary (crying about missing my dh-ugh!) and a bit snappy (not good when the stepmom is around!). Anyway, things seem to be OK today, but there is still at least 7 hours left until I can fall into bed without guilt!!!
