Rhonda-trust me...EVERY teacher thinks the breathing thing...the difference is that WE know that we think it because if we get sick ( and how many thousands of germs do we encounter everyday) that a day spent with a substitute is a wasted day for our students.....and we cant afford that....I think parents are pretty surprised most of the time by what they think happened....and what really happened.

I'm one of the rare people in my area that believe that sick people (children AND adults) belong at home....NOT out spreading the germs around. I know I'm one of the lucky few that is able to take off when I want (well, monetarily it hurts. But not jobwise). But if we all kept sick kids home there'd be LESS sick kids out there. And less spreading of germs. That's my opinion.
