I am not confessing here I am just stating a fact.....I went out for lunch and had some pizza Now I feel about as ill as could possibly be. So for anyone who is thinking of going "off plan" just try and imagine how crappy I feel right now. oooooohhhhhh.
I can't wait to knock this crap off and get back OP so that I feel better. I didn't even realize how much better I always felt OP. .....strange.....

And another thing.....I am quitting smoking! I have been cheating lately and having cigs and now my lungs are killing me! This is it....it has to stop. Wish me luck. I've done it before and can do it again.

Boy it sure sounds like I am on some crazy self distructive spree here doesn't it? I need to think about what has been going on that may be causing this blip and fix them.

Oh my tummy..............

Explain something to me... I am just really not understanding (ok I really do understand-well maybe not) I have been OP the past three day but have eaten more than I normally do in a week in 3 day and I have lost more weight than I have in 2 weeks? I have stayed OP (good for me) but have been very depressed and eaten much more than I normally would = increased weight loss?

Okay the principle here is that I am not eating enough on a regular basis? I really don't consider my normal intake as not enough that is what is not making since. Oh well shouldn't complain it just is kinda confusing.

Amy--it has something to do with calorie consumption and carb consumption. You need fuel to burn fat. Something on that order is the way I understand it. It's one reason I'm trying to add MORE (meat) to my diet so that maybe it'll keep the body burning instead of the shut down, start up mess I've been in. Keep up the good work!!

Jane---good luck w/the quitting smoking and sorry you're not feeling well. Hope your belly feels better soon!

Hi All!

I am so glad it is friday! Having the Kids home all day this week has really goofed up my schedule!

I ran this morning, and LoriAS you might know what I mean when I say this, but I think I have FINALLY broken through a mental block! Even though I have done EVERY run in the training so far, I have always felt so Tired and Lead Legged in the last split. I would virtually talk myself into finishing it. After I did finish it, I would be proud and tell myself I can do this.. but then next time I have the same problem. Well, today I did AWESOME. I ran 2 3-minute splits and 2 5-minute splits with only a half run time walking break between each one! At teh end of the last 5 minute split, I almost kept running because It not only went fast, but I felt like I could run longer with out a problem! that is such a first! I am very proud of myself!

I also am amazed. Remember on Monday (WI day) I was up 7 pounds? Well Tuesday I was up 1 more pound to 8 pounds.. today I decided to get on the scale again and I show I am now down ... Drumroll Please... 7 of those pounds! And TOM Is still lurking in the background somewhere (only a week late now) WOO HOO! I wont make it offical until Monday.. but OMG... I will be so happy if I get back down to what I was on Easter Sunday! 1 more to go!

Brenda - I am praying for you and your family! My Grandfather had Prostrate Cancer, had the surgery and lived for another 12+ years and died at the ripe old age of 94 of natural causes!

Jane - We arent going to SHoot you! You can do it.. You can! Look at how close you are! YOU CAN YOU CAN YOU CAN!!! And for giving up smoking too!

Amy - With Atkins, THe carb consumption is the key. Not the calories, although there are some people who need to watch their calorie intake too as they tend to get a little over zealous with the protien consumption... So ifyou are eating more and losing.. you are doing it right! One thing too, if prior to atkins you werent losing, you may have had too little to eat. I know my mother has that problem. She thinks she has to feel hungry all the time in order to lose weight. SO that is how she eats, the doctor keeps telling her to eat more, but she wont.. she ends up not losing a thing.. and she is 40-50 pounds over weight herself.

Robin - I am jealous! I want to redo my kitchen too! But My house is only 4 years old, so I dont think it will happen anytime soon...

Leenie: Whatcha Cooking?

Shimma - Howd the test go?? What is the CNA?

Jina - it is so good to see you posting these days! I missed your posts while you were gone! I hope you have a great time at the conference! I expect a full report! I am always up for weight loss tips that help with the long term! OHHHH Shopping! I need to go again.. I NEED SHORTS BAD!!

BZY:

TG - Your posts always crack me up! "Not fit for Consumption"? too funny!

Star: LOL! No Sleep.. Work.... Never mix the two!! Hope you get some much needed sleep soon! Hmmm... nothin' happened that needs to go on the Bad Girl thread???

Hope all have a great rest of the day! I am not sure what the weekend holds.. but I hope to check in again before Monday... Tonight is Movie Night with the kids.. we rented Jurassic Park because DS "REALLY REALLY" wants to see it.. so we are having an early dinner so we can watch it as a family.... I dont think 5 YO DD will last through the first scene though.. it will terrify her!

And we are having one of my favorites tonight.. Roast Chicken and Green Beans! (Ok the kids and DH are having Tater tots too... )

bye all!
