  • LOL! I havent heard it called Maundy Thursday in a while! And My Kids are in Catholic School!

Star - Maundy Thursday is when We Catholics observe the anniversary of the Last Supper. On this day we include the washing of the feet, the acctual supper it self and we bless all the holy oils used in the special services for the next year (Baptisms, Weddings, Anoinitng of the Sick, etc) Also the people who are going through the Rite of Christian Initiaition (to be baptised Catholic at the Easter Vigil Mass on Saturday) will have some special ceremonies as well, usually with the bishop.

    Is that easier to understand?

How is everyone today! Again, not much time.. but I am doing well! Took today off from exercise as my legs are a little sore after 3 days in a row.. but I will stretch later! I also have a ton of house cleaning to do today!

My biscotti turned out awesome... I love making my grandmother's recipes. I didnt taste them at all, but DH told me he could tell they were the same as my Nonna's! I even dipped 1/2 in melted chocolate... I just hope my cousins appreciate them!

Now if I can figure out how to make them low carb and still taste the same.. I would be so happy!

    Talk to you all later!!
  • My eyes are burning and bugging the heck out of me. Not sure where the time is going but once again I don't think I've got enough to do personals. I'm still alive and still on program Enough said? Sorry, I feel sassy! Gotta fly again!
  • Thanks Karen! That makes more sense to me
  • Thanks Karen......now it makes sense. I told my mother about it (and she goes to mass almost everday) and even she was looking at me kind of funny!

My office is hot as today. It either runs hot or cold. Just turned on my little desk fan.......aaaahhhhhhh
  • Aah, a day off. Public holiday due to Good Friday means I'm not required today
I'm planning on hitting the mall for some serious window shopping
I might even go see a movie, haven't been in a while...it'll be a ***** to try and avoid the popcorn...scratch that, the whole candy bar!
    *sigh*
Have/hope you had a nice day, ladies!
  • Thanks for the "translation" Karen - I too was having trouble following that - but as the token Jew I have a good excuse? ha ha ha (except for Genghis I guess?....who is currently "celebrating" Passover in Las Vegas? hmmmm I think she has the right idea!).
