Howdy all!

Im back with my bacon and eggs! :) :coffee:

I got to the gym this morning at 5 am to have my body fat test... and the good news is that I am down 10 pounds since the last time, the bad news is that my body fat % hasnt changed. We talked about it and that is why I cannot get myself out of the 160s.. Im losing muscle mass. SO for the next 4 weeks, I am still going to focus on eating right and stay under 20 carbs, BUT I am going to ignore the scale, and focus on working out.I will still weigh in weekely. but I am not to focus on that number.. But to focus on my workouts. :strong: :tread: So today I did the Eliptical and the lower body weights routine!

Brenda - Is your day getting better?

Jane - WTG! You have come so far! Its nice not to worry about fluctuations. I had a 3 pound up this morning.. But I know TOM is due in a few days...

Leenie - Hope you are having a great day!

Mrs. H - Have a great day!

Lori - I am using the Couch to 5K you recommended in another thread. I absolutely love it! I am checking in with the Pre-Dawners there too.. so that helps a lot! How are you feeling? no nausea yet?

TG - LOL! I know what you mean about Izzy's! I have felt that way before too! That is why I dont go there any more!! too much temptation!

Barbie101 - Sending you prayers! You can do it! Stick with us, post often! Stay under 20 carbs too if you can when you go OWL. That is what I am doing now.

Abbie - WTG on the 1st Passover Supper! I know it can be hard with family meals! I am Italian! talk about Carbs! (Leenie, could you share that recipe for a thicker cheesecake? Did I miss it somewhere?)

Star - I am so glad you are feeling better and the surgery went well! :) I love cottage cheese so that doesnt sound so strange to me! :) Free coffee is always a good thing too! :coffee:

OH I forgot to mention my torta! It turned out JUST like my grandmothers.. at least taste wise! (I took a tiny bit of the filling just to be sure :o ) Looks wise it needs work! But My family loved it, and I think if I use Splenda, Sugar free chocolate and Soy flour, I just might be able to make it quite a bit less Carb-laden. But that is for after easter! :)

Ok gang, gotta run for now.. but I will check in later!

Sorry. No time to get personal (again). UGH! I hate this rush rush stuff. My day settled down a little while at work. Mainly because I had nothing to do and had to create work. And all the while it's this beautiful day outside and I was stuck INSIDE working! UGH! I made myself do taebo when I got home (after lunch of course). So that's out of the way. Now if I can sleep better tonight (oh man, I felt like I was gonna jump out of my skin!) I'll be happy. We have hunters safety tonight--going to shoot shotgun (oh joy). lol
 Hi all!!

Hi Everyone, :coffee:

Brenda, How interesting, this morning we got up late too. Nobody set the alarm. My DH usually leaves for work at 7:30 and the clock said 7:34. He is the VP so he called at 8:00 and said he was late and decided to get an oil change on the way also. I hope you have a great day anyway.

StarPrincess, I am glad to hear that things are back to normal for you after the surgery. Are you happy that you did it? Are things "looking" good?

Jane, That is a great idea, eating OWL foods but staying at 20! Yesterday I had a few almonds and a lo carb tortilla at Schlotzskys Deli instead of the bread, and the whole day was only 16. I think it's easier than eating only induction foods.

Barbie, That's what I am going to do, no more than 20 gms of carbs a day.

Karen, Way to go with all the exercise, you are an inspiration.

Genghis, Have fun in Vegas :cb:

Lori, Congrats! I hope the best for you. :flow1:

Theo's, A backyard shindig and egghunt sounds like a lot of fun. Your pets will probably like it too!

My inlaws are building their dreamhome in the Texas hillcountry, they just sold their house and will be moving into a rent house until the dreamhouse is finished. I'll be helping with packing things up, there are a lot of things to pack!! With everything else I won't have much time left!! At least I won't have time to think about food. :smoking:

Hi Barbie - Welcome back!
I'm in the same boat as you and just refocused about 2 weeks ago.
Most days I am under 20 gr - BUT my absolute MAX for days when I want to add in nuts is 24. I am refusing to allow myself to go above that number. See the other topic - Back to Induction or something like that.

Hi everyone! I decided this morning to stop hopping on the scales every single morning...once a week should show more encouraging results! I'm in a bit of a rush to get to work this morning, so just a short post ;)

(You guys are behind me time wise so I'd better point out, it's 9am Wednesday where I am) :)

Hi Hi Everyone,
Today everything was going quite well until I got a phone call at work. It was the vice principal at my oldest DD's school. It seems after her homework was done she sat drawing pictures.. and they suspended her!!!!! I guess they didn't approve of the pictures she was drawing. So the school liason officer dropped her off at work and told me personally that there is no way she should be suspended for this, these pictures were harmless and he is going to write up an entire report on the matter.
Well now I'm just fumin! I get home from work and march my big ole bootie right into that school. They showed me the pictures she drew and it was insane.. a guy standing outside smoking a cigarette! Anarchy signs and for the love of god she drew a cross!!! So I am a little p'd off at the moment.. I sat there and listened to all their bs.. and tonight I am writing a letter to the school board.. they said this on top of the disruptions in class (meaning talking) and the misuse of the computers (her and her friends wrote notes to each other on the computers in lab and saved them in a file) is the reason for her suspension.. ARG.. she didn't get in a fight with someone, she didn't steal, she didn't vandilize.. she had no drugs, cigarettes, alcohol nor weapon on the property.. They suspended her for a week for being a teenager!! Ok now I have to admit the Anarchy sign bothered me a tad, but I know her reasons behind it and I know its just a stage she needs to work through.
They dont like the way she dresses and they cant handle the fact that she has a mind of her own and will stand up to someone when confronted.
ok ok.. sorry for ranting and raving about this.. it just truely bothers me.
So thats my day in a nutshell, I'm all fired up now staring at those dang fries I made the girls for dinner.. I'll stay clear but I have to admit I'd like to eat the entire pan of em. Think I need to go do something to burn this off
Thanks for letting me whine ;)

Trazzie,
that is crazy!! Don't worry about the anarchy sign, I am 32 yrs old and still have a t0shirt with an anarchy sign on it, I wore it yesterday, I had anarchy signs all over my stuff when I was a teenager and i turned out to be a totally normal kid and adult. I would be P'ed off though too if i was you at the staff!!
