I hope no one already made this thread (I couldn't find one about it), but I was wondering if any of you chew sugar free gum to help with keto-breath and/or to help with sugar cravings. I have recently become addicted to it (chewing about 4 pieces a day--1 carb per piece and 4-5 cals).
Do any of you chew SF gum? Did it make you stall at all?
I want to chew gum really bad, but read somewhere that certain ingredients (I can't remember which) are not that great when doing a Ketogenic diet. It was suggested to use Listerine strips instead, so I've stocked up on those as my alternative.
I've always been a "gum chewer" - since I was a kid, so it's a bit of a challenge to not have gum for me.
Hmm, I may have to look into listerine strips. For me it's the fruity flavor I crave though, and if I remember correctly, listerine is very minty. hmm...
