I have a pms weight gain that came on overnight and went off a few days later just as fast. I don't eat anything but real food and drink tea. I do low carb but not any of the traditional diets, it's slightly different from both atkins and South beach. The weight gain was about 7 lbs total. I was very upset when I saw it and weighed myself every day which I know is bad but I was worried I didn't know what was going on. I monitor my caloric intake and had not cheated.

Spirit - have you tried upping your water intake. I used to hate water (still kinda do), but I didn't really drink more than a glass per day. Now, I'm up to 5-6 bottles a day and find that I am retaining less water. That might be the culprit in the 7lb weight gain so fast. Also, what is your exercise regimen? Joyce
