1400 for me today, plus about 10 pistachios that I haven't figured out yet, calorie-wise.

2102 today; went over by a smidge or two; lol but yesturday i was under. I was more hungry today. I better even out soon and pay more attention to input. Tomorrow is workout day with second trial of aerobics class. I have been going in the morning so I burn more fat by not eating first. Does anyone find success at this?

Love&LaughAlways - I always eat before going to an exercise class. If not, I tend to tire out towards the end and become very sloppy with the movements. When that happens, there's the chance of injuring myself. So anyway, I fuel up before.

thanks, what do you think is the best thing to eat before workout? carbs like cereal or protein like eggs and lite sausage?

before a workout small amounts of easy to digest food, carbs for energy (or dont eat, protein alone wont help low blood sugar) with maybe a small amount of protein to stabilize blood sugar. Not a full breakfast.
I am a southbeach gal but pre workout I do mostly carbs --insant oatmeal, toast etc |

cereal with milk glucerna shake onion ham pie, lasangna, and mashed potatoes watched my portions and feeling great tomorrow is probably going to be 2 boiled eggs glucerna shake same dinner as today possibly |
i usually only count calories breakfast and lunch time

1786 calories today. I felt like I was eating all day, but I wanted to avoid the low calories of the last couple of days. I've shed the Thanksgiving weight, too. Yay!

Yesterday -- 1011 calories in, 3681 out. Of course, after my Thanksgiving weekend, I am still at an average ot 1800 calories in for the last week.
Today, I have begun a week of SlimFast Optima to kickstart my weight loss. So far, so good....I am at 1093 for the day. |
day 98 - 1200
Wednesday is weigh-in day and day 100 of dieting. Back in August I had gone to the doctor where I got weighed and immediately went into panic mode. It is so easy to avoid the overeating issue when you don't weigh yourself. Oh, it is just a pound or two, you tell yourself. Yeah, right! Anyway, at this same time I stumbled across Celebrity Fit Club on VH1 and found it interesting. The Fit Club celebrities dieted over a 100 day period. I am coming up on that 100 day period as well. It is kind of a 'monument' in my dieting, but only the beginning! |

I am FINALLY below 165...whew! Just 5# to go until I am at a healthy BMI...while I know that the BMI is not perfect, it's the yardstick I am measuring with for consistancy. Calorie counting for today...my goal is to keep it low (kinda like Deal Or No Deal *tee hee*) and get my exercise in. |
OnePerDecade - I may have already asked you this; my memory isn't the best. I see that at one time you were 227. How long did it take you to get to get to your current weight?

loveandlaugh - to clarify, I usually DONT eat for a shorter workout (like if I am just doing a 30-40 minute run I just up and go) because I go so early that I hate to get up one more minute earlier. Although I usually do have my diluted juice before I go (4 oz cranberry juice in 12 oz water) to hydrate.
Right around 4 miles is where I start to feel it if I havent eaten so usually I'll take in a bit more if I am going longer. THats when I do the other carbs. If I am going really really long I do carbs with protein to stabilize and gu on the run. Or if I am not working out right as soon as I get up, I will try and gauge the right amount to eat to be digested but not hungry. 2068 yesterday - right on goal! |

day 99 = 1505 calories day 100 weight: - 1.8 pound. I'm happy with this. Afterall, this week included not only Thanksgiving but also my birthday. I managed to get through both without falling off the wagon. In the three weeks that I've been weighing myself, I've lost 5.6 pounds. :carrot: |

OnePerDecade you're doing a really great job! I wish I could get back on track to loosing. I'm pretty much maintaining now. My weekly averages have been around 1900 calories.

I am feeling pretty good overall...Whenever I start feeling as if I'm not losing enough, I ask myself "Am I better than I was yesterday/last month/six months ago?" That puts me back on track. Today's calories -- 1352 in, 3064 out |
Today at 1956. I wanted to get a little high because my average was falling and I don't want to get locked into too few calories.
I'm so sleepy today I can hardly stand it. I fell asleep at my desk at work. I never do that! |

Elijah I hope your not coming down with something. My son fell asleep in class two days ago and ended up with a fever. He is fine now. Some virus going around. Get plenty of rest and eat your soup and oranges. calories in 1646. exercised more than usual because i was discusted at weigh in when I gained a pound. I'm in it for the long hall. Maybe it was muscle. My husband and I seen the movie dejavu with Denzel Washington; pretty good thriller, some goriness though ( i close my eyes :D ). |

So does anyone else pick food--especially stuff like restaurant or frozen dinners, because you know you already have that food in your fitday custom foods? Like last night I knew I had the subway club in there so I got that sandwich even though another one had slightly more appeal. Too tired to look up the info.
