Talking I just don't get it.

I went out to dinner last night and had Mexican Food, My favorite! I went in with my mind set on making good choices.

Then the chips came...and salsa. I thought OK I'll just have a couple knowing that I wouldn't stop after a couple, I never do.

I ordered Chicken fajitas. A good choice IF you leave out the 3 flour tortillas, sour cream, guacamole, rice and beans that come with it. I didn't.

I came home feeling so stuffed I thought I was gonna pass out. I collapsed on the couch and took a 45 minute nap at 8PM! I felt awful. Got up and went to bed.

This morning I stepped on the scales to find I had LOST 2.5 pounds since yesterday!

Where is the logic?

My daily calorie intake averages about 1800 so it's not like I'm starving or anything.

I'm not looking for answers because I know there aren't any. I just thought I would post this for those of us that stress out over every little thing we eat, day after day.

Even if we slip up every once in a while, it's OK. It's not the end of the world.

Congrats on the 2.5 pound loss!

You realize it's the result of all your hard work before last night's dinner, right? And it would have shown up today regardless of what you ate last night? In fact, last night's dinner isn't even completely digested yet, so it's possible that you might see a little bump up on the scales over the next few days. But it would probably be mostly water, so don't sweat it. Keep up the good work!

Thanks thefashionista and welcome to 3FC. I don't post that often I mostly lurk.
The support and info here is fantastic. Good luck on your journey.

Meg- I know, and I have been working harder. It's cool when you see it on the scale on a day you don't expect it.

thanks
