Default Sweet N Low

I've been to the health food/vitamin stores lately and I've noticed they have there own sugar (sweetners)...is there any health reason I shouldn't use sweet n low in my ice tea???

Some people listen to all the hype and freak out about artificial sweeteners. I believe Sweet N' Low is "the pink stuff," right? It contains saccharine, which may cause cancer if you eat like 10 gallons of it every day for the next 50 years or something. Just like aspartame may kill you--again, if you eat a ton of it all the time. As long as it's in moderation and you don't have any immediate side effects from it (i.e., allergies or headaches), it ain't gonna kill ya

Have you tried Stevia? It is all natural and zero calories. Some people say it is better for you than all the artificial sweeteners.

I use Splenda too... I like how it tastes better than aspartame or saccharine. I haven't been able to find Stevia, but I've heard a lot about it! Any hints about where this stuff may be hiding? lol

I haven't ever bought stevia - but I think I've seen it at a vitamin/health food store.

I like Splenda as well. It leaves a nice clean taste. No after taste that I would taste from the pink stuff.
