Arrrgh!

  • Well, I weighed in this morning at 179- no change. I'm frustrated!

I think my biggest problems are
    1. not drinking enough water
    2. not excercising regularly enough
    3. eating too much, especially at night. My calories have been 1500-1800 over the past week.

    4. And this one, I REALLY need help with- eating dessert at night. I am addicted to having it. I love to sit down with a bowl of ice cream in front of the tv at night- granted, last night it was a 350 calorie bowl, so that's better than usual, but still! I think it is hurting my weight loss. How do you guys handle night time eating?

Plus, I'm trying to stay at 1200 calories, but everyday this week has been higher. I have just felt hungry this week....
  • Do you measure out your servings? I buy the No Sugar Added Fat Free Blue Bunny ice creams. 1/2 cup is 90 calories. ( I eat 1 cup ) I really like the Caramel Toffee Crunch or the Brownie Sundae. I am an ice cream addict myself. Maybe we could form an ICAA (ice cream addicts anonymous )

I just make sure whatever I'm having is counted in with my calories for the day. I eat late at night EVERY night. So I count the calories of whatever I'm going to have (yes, it's better to plan it so you don't eat mindlessly) in with my daily calorie allowance. If I have to sacrifice something during the day so I can have my late-night food, so be it.
  • Yea, ya'll are right- I need to plan what I'm going to eat before the day starts. that way I'm not just eating whatever I want whenever I want..... I'm going to try this today.
  • My ice cream sub (I love ice cream too) is fruit, ff yogurt and ff cottage cheese. I actually had two cereal bowls full last night. And there is ice cream in the house.
