Default Dieting at college - HELP!

Hello everyone
I just entereed college this year and I am finding it increasingly difficult to diet and lose weight. Suprisingly since I have gotten here I have managed to lose about 10 pounds and go down about 2 sizes, but I feel like lately I have been gaining back some of the weight. I have been generally eating either oatmeal for breakfast or having eggs with fruit. And for lunch and dinner I generally have salad with light dressing, raisons, chick peas, kidney beans. Is it true that eating too much veggies can lead to you actually bloating or gaining weight? Thats what my roomate says, but I haven't found any evidence to support it. I know I need to add protein to my diet but the things that they serve on campus are all greasy and un appetizing. Occasionally I will differ it up a bit by having a turkey sandwich on rye bread with mustard, lettuce, and tomatoe for a meal, or having stir fry rice, chicken, broccoli, pepper, and terriaki sauce. I don't know if that is the healthiest choice but I figure those are the three healthiest things on campus. Occasionally they will serve chicken caesar wraps or chef salad wraps and I will eat that for a meal. If anyone has any suggestions on ways I can lose weight please tell me.
Oh and as for excersize I take an hour ballet class 4 days a week, and walk alot all around campus to get to my classes. I could probably be doing more. But lately I have been very tired... maybe because of not eating enough. I don't know. I wish this were easier.

hello! well let me say its not too easy to eat healthy at college for a couple of reasons ...
1) the choices
2) each meal is a social gathering so you tend to not really pay attention to how much you are eating
3) you're up late and you tend to get hungry around 1AM with nothing but junk around in your room
so it's tough, but it is easy to get excercise in and it seems like you have some of that covered ... dieting in college and I'm currently gaining the weight i have lost because of the new school year but I would love to have some support if you want to be friends
