Today was WI day!! ~ Not bad.
 

Well, today was my weigh in day. This is 1 full week counting calories and eating better choices! I am down 0.6 pounds from the previous week! I have not showed a negative weigh in, in over a month! I hope continue to see negatives on the scale! :)

Does anyone else weigh in today? How were your results?

I weigh in at home. Unfortunally, I stepped back on to my scales the other morning doing my daughters hair and something came apart. I knew something was wrong cause it was weighing me at 88 pound :lol: I took it apart and found one of the weigh legs that balances it had fell off. So I put it back together. It weighed me at 145 pounds. Even when I bagged it with 10 pounds of flour/sugar. Ive been alittle upset at yo yo scales. ;)

WOW!! I thought the scales were better then that. I have beat mine and it is fine. It acts up when it needs batteries but that is it. Do you have a digital scale? I am not sure who I was talking with about them... but just in case it was not you... the digital scales at walmart for around $30.00 work great. I have never had a problem with mine. I have had it for almost a year.

Also, sometimes your dr.s office will allow you to come in and just see the nurse to get on there scale!! I have done that in the past too! They don't mind that. And they don't charge you for it either.

lol thats what hubby told me to do yesterday about the doctor. I will ask them if I can.
No there not digital. This one was actually a loaner. I got mad at my last scales and well just say they didnt make it. :lol:
My mom has a digital (bought it through avon) but I hate that thing it weighs me more too. :(
I like the ones you can set because when I hit a plateu I will move the scales down 5 pounds and it starts dropping again then I reset it. I usually hit thoughs around the even numbers like 140, 150, 160, ect. Maybe its just phycological but it works for me.
I will go by walmarts to see what all they have. I have been thinking about getting a digital set for awhile now because my scales are even off from my doctors. I think it was by 5 pounds. Besides, I really do need to wing myself from the old type.

Hi there. You sound like I used to be lol. And no, I would NOT buy the scale from Avon. I sell (well I am supposed to but I don't really do it anymore.. but I am still a seller according to Avon lol) Avon and I would never buy it. I bought mine from walmart. I like to totally check things out before I buy them. Mine is called Taylor or something like that. It was around $30.00. And it was so worth the money! Don't forget to get batteries though!!! And get extra just in case, so you have them when the batteries die out. :)

I always hated the regular old scales. They are never accurate!! And they break way to easy! Mine never measured up to the doc either. But my digital matches the doctors readings! :) Good luck. You will love it. :)

Taylor Body Fat Analyzer Bathroom Scale lol That is the one I was eye balling. That things neat looking! Well I ran into town to see if I could get weighed at the clinic. They let me. Now I just wanna cry. lol Those scales are right. So now I have to adjust my weight loss here and fitday.

Don't get to upset about your weigh in. Take into consideration it was NOT first thing in the morning (which makes a difference), and also that you had all of your clothing and shoes and stuff on! Once you get the new scale... pick a day and time to weigh in each week... do it on the same day and time each week. Then you will see loss because it will be the same scale each week. :)

True.. I did have everything on. So maybe your right! I will make sure I get some anger management for the new scales. LOL! I will try that routine and let you know how it works! ;)

As soon as I wake up on weigh in day here is my pace..... get out of bed... go to the bathroom and get every drop out hahahahaha... walk to the scale (only biker shorts, undies, and a t-shirt on each week) get on... weigh on it twice to be sure... and tally up. Lol. :) Stop laughing now hahaha. Just kidding... laugh away... it is good for our minds lol.

hehe still have me laughing over that. I always weigh myself in my t-shirt and undies because its really weird I got some cotton shorts I wear to lounge in and I can weigh myself in them. I puts me up 2 extra pounds, perhaps its my imagination running away with me. lol

It is possible. Every thread and elastic etc. weighs!! If I could weigh in with nothing but flesh I would... but I would scare the birds HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. No lol... my scale is in the kitchen because it is the levelist (hope thats a word lol) floor.

Hubby had a level I used to check areas in the floor to make sure it was ok to set them down. And I agree If I could do it just in flesh that would be better. I put mine close to our backdoor in our laundry room course the door has a huge window. hehe I think I would scare the birds away to. I got a hummingbird feeder back there so I have to include those too. :) Oh yeah and my sharpa dog.. poor thing good thing hes got saggy skin to cover up those eyeballs.

We are so nice lol. But you know what... it don't matter what we look like now... just wait.... we are going to be knockouts one day!! :)

You are going to have to buy clothes lol. Another 25 pounds it says you want to lose... your clothes will be falling off of you before then hahahaha. Not that your hubby won't enjoy that lol. But you won't want to wear your old clothes! You will want to go get some new ones and strutt your stuff as my mom always says hahaha. :)

I have to go to a pizza party this evening for a friend of mine's boys. I will have to make sure Im full before I go. Me and Pizza is not a good thing.
My aunt bought me a weight loss present yesterday when I went out to my moms. I was beyond suprised (silk gown lol). :o It was a bit tight but another 10 pounds and it will fit perfect. I thought that was really nice. So Im gonna hang it up in my bathroom and keep that as a goal. It really lifted up my spirits.

Lol... I always come up with some good ones to get my husband motivated to do things hahaha. Just once you get to your goal weight and buy all of those new clothes.... don't get to confortable!! If you do (and not continue to work at it like you did the whole time to lose the weight) you will gain it back. And it comes back on so much faster and easier then it comes off! I was down to around 150 something pounds last summer!!!! I got comfortable and lazy and boom... I am back where I started a year before that!!! It sucks! My mom gave me $100 to buy clothes that fit... I did... and I thru away (actually I sold most of them on ebay lol) most of my fat clothes... now I only have a couple things that fit.. stretch pants and sweats. :( It sucks!!

Congrats on the gift! That sounds awesome. I am sure you will be in that in know time! It is awesome to have things around to work towards wearing!! Better when it is someting specail like that, that you have never warn before!! :)

STAY AWAY FROM THE PIZZA!!!! LOL. Pizza is killer!!! It is so sinful. I think it is worse then a small peice of (like a hersheys kiss) chocolate! I didn't think about it before I ate it last time. Next time it is going to be salad heaven for me lol.

I know :( I have stood away from pizza for almot 9 months. I have ate me a big salad and about a handful of carrots. lol So I should be good til I get home.
About the weight jumping around. Ive had that experience just by going from 112lbs to 230lbs in 9 months.. Insane huh?
I think that was great of your mom pitching in to help. Moms can be great support!! Expecially when things fall through when our hopes are high.
I hope I dont gain mine back.. I am very much happier at a smaller size. I couldnt go into so many tiny and large details why I should stay ontrack. Our benifts though is we have the support right here to keep us on track. We all know the struggles.

Thanks! I am trying so hard to make a difference in my health and body. I am sure hoping it works. I would love to walk my town more often. But I can't. There are alot of big dogs with and without leases and I am totally afraid of them. So I won't go alone. I will go with my hubby though! The whole family went. And we all had a blast! :)

Awe that is so cute. We will walk down to the creek which our drive way is a huge challenge. Its pure incline and its long! Well to me it is. lol We just dont go out that often cause I hate to walk out on the roads without him (too).. we have a bunch of ankle biters here in this road.
I have to confess I ate 2 chips there. LOL! I figured it wasnt much to grumble over. Trust me it aint easy. I played basketball with hubby so I wouldnt have to see the cake and the pizza.

Ankel biters are bad to sometimes. I have one lol. But she is a puppy. She is getting fixed This Thursday. I am so worried about lol. Anyway, I can imagine that driveway! Reminds me of one we had when I was growing up. Not something I would tackle now lol. But it used to be a breeze as a kid!

Oh my cats are fixed that was a breeze! I had to have it done because there both males and was inside cats at the time. Is it your first time getting a animal fixed?

No... it is the second time. I just worry on stuff like this. I was worry when my cat got fixed to. I hate it lol. But I don't want runaways or babies lol.

I noticed when my cat zippy got fixed he put on 5 lbs. Hes right at 17 pounds LOL!

WOW!! Lol. They are to much like us hahaha. I don't think a little meat on the puppy will be bad lol. She is so hyper she will wear it off lol.

Yep, I was fixed too and wham within 6 months I was up by 20 lbs. I dont think you mentioned what kind of dog you had.. We had a very small wire terrior. I hated that dog but hubby loved the poor looking thing. Id love to get us a long haired Chihuahua those are adorable.

Lol.... you know what.. me to! hAHAHAA. I have yet to lose much of anything from pregnancy or being fixed hahahahahaha.

I have a rat terrier.... like a fox terrier I think it is. She is awesome. :) She is very playful and sometimes to hyper!! But she is awesome. She was my birthday present this year. :)

Those are really cute dogs! I havent had ones of those "yet". lol I goto my local vet and we take care of a dog for the weekend to help with expenses for them. That and I love showing animals "lots" of affection. I taught my cat to lick you when you ask for kisses. Its really adorable.
About being fixed: We will show our bodies whos the boss now! eh? :D

HAHAHAHAHA.... my cat does that too.. she is good at giving hugs (kind of) too! I love her. :)

I could not take an animal home just for the weekend!! It would never get back to the vets place!!! I would end up keeping them all lol.

About taking a animal home for the weekend. Thats why its just for the weekend. I can get attacted very easy.
Also, we have way to animals as it is. We have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 cockatiel, 1 blue front amazon, and about 500 fish. Drives me bonkers alot of times lol..

Boys don't listen or learn much lol. Hugs are weird.. but cool. :) She loves laying in/on our hair and playing with it too. She is goofy. She thinks she is human and a dog too lol. She is a riot lool. Our cat loves being pet to!! They are so spoiled lol.

WOAH!!!!! That is a lot of animals!! Lol. Sounds like how my sisters house (she used to own a pet store too) used to be!! I have had 3 or 4 cats and 2 dogs at once but that is about it lol. We had cockateils.... they were ok. To old I think. We had fish but they died lol. They die to easy. Amazon.. those are one of those big birds aren't they? I can't remember what my sister had... but it was a big one and it was awesome!! Animals are awesome. :)

Yeah shes big. Amazon is right :) We would like to buy a cockatoo but there very expensive. Kee kee was gave to us. She had 2 previous owners and the first week we had her she had bit through my bottom lip. My stupidity. lol There not as lovable as cockatiels. There skitish too. Cockatiels are loud and can be annoying. Well through my experience. Ive already gave away 2 of the 3.
Fish isnt to hard to keep alive. Hubby has 2 oscars one is albino (these fish strive through all kinds of different conditioned waters). I have a huge tank with nothing but fancy guppies there my babies!!
Animals are awsome! They say they can help relieve stress.. but Im not sure about some of them.. they can actually cause stress hehe
Female cats I think they learn easier too.. Personally. Tiggy I worked with him since a baby I think is the only reason he learned what he did. He also plays fetch with a wad of paper.
