This fresh start, well, wasn't. Today am at 2.4 pounds up from last Sunday to 136.8, cals yesterday were at 2040, exercise under 5,000 steps.
Am I discouraged, NOPE. I know the drill.
Things have been tough for me in life and in my classes for a while now and I'm not getting enough walking time, not lifting enough weights and ergo, the comfy calorie range I've been at is JUST NOT DOING IT.
So the first thing that has to level off is the cal count. I'm declaring yet another SORT OF LOOSELY ENFORCED personal cal challenge that, because Halloween season and the glorious days of late September and month of October are my most powerful and energetic time when my inner witchiepoo comes out to play, I am calling THE SEASON OF THE WITCH.
As always, there will be no deprivation here in my little witch world, and yea, I know I break all my challenge rules sooner or later, but it is still fun to have a go at it.
So during this season, the highly breakable and totally non enforceable but I'll just be playing with it WITCH RULES are that during this time, I will eat less than 2000 calories but WE KNOW we need to stay WAY lower than that most days so the rule is to try to do that but don't get bothered or stressed if I don't.
PLUS, SATURDAYS WILL BE MY OFFICIAL WEEKLY WEIGH-IN and 3FC ticker changing time throughout the challenge, with the final one being on Halloween, October 31 (it's a Saturday). As always, I will also personally stick with my habit of weighing daily and logging that privately. Might share any good weigh-ins that come my weigh.
That's it. I will succeed.
Somebody once said "when the going gets tough the tough get going" (attributed to various sources, but the most credible, in my opinion, is football coach Knute Rockne).
