Hi texasma,
Usually a 2 oz condiment cup means 2 FLUID OUNCES, which is a measure of
volume, not to be confused with 2 ounces of
weight--an entirely different unit that unfortunately shares the word ounce

Btw, 2 fluid ounces = 4 Tablespoons = 1/4 cup.
It's likely you had 2 tablespoons of slivered almonds. When you use volume, it does matter if the almonds are whole or slivered because more slivered can fit into the cup than whole ones can. MFP says 1/4 cup of slivered almonds weighs about 30g and has about
170 calories.
