My weigh in

  • I tried to start calorie counting on 1st day of January & even posted here that I was trying. Fell off the wagon quick. But a week ago today I started again. I was gonna try for 1500 a day but since at this time I'm more sedentary I decided to try for no more than 1296 (from calorie calculator). I've stayed a little below, on target & once or twice above that # a bit. Anyway, here it goes.
    Starting weight: 154
    today's weight: 150.2

    Trying to hang with it. I'm happy I lost. I just want to lose even more. Think when I get in 140's I'll be happier. Hope I see 130's & it doesn't take forever.

  • I get bummed when I don't see big numbers too. I've found that for my sanity I can't weigh in every week, cause I need to see 10+ pounds lost whether I weighed in 2 days ago, or 2 months ago. I've even had my husband hide the scale from me a time or two
    I've also found that if I am super strict with my calorie intake then I'm just setting myself up for eating bad things when I'm weak.
