Default 9 weeks and 24.8 lbs down

I average about 1.5-2 lbs per week. last week tom was here and I went up 2 lbs of water weight but im back down. I started at 289 and I weighed in at 265.2 today. Im on my way. I cant wait to get to 259 for 30 lbs Im calorie counting. Not much exersize yet except a little walking with my dog. Thanks so much everyone. I do my meansurements every month. im mainly losing in my stomach and butt which are my main problem areas anyways lol.

Congratulations!! That is a big accomplishment! I am recently back at it... After getting a new job, that loves to supply the employees with donuts, sweets, cakes, and other delicious items daily (and we are in the health field!), I luckily didn't undo my progress, but I didn't move down at all either. Back to counting and getting back on track!

You are an inspiration!

That is fantastic progress! I'm with you on the calorie counting without too much focus on exercise. I figured in order to get the ball rolling I need to focus on the one that is actually going to make me lose weight and establish a habit and get some success going before I worry about exercise. I am trying to choose active things like family hikes, swimming and rollerskating sporadically but not regimented "one hour, five days a week" like I've done in the past.

i was wondering that if i can lose weight without exercise i walk daily for at least 60 mints or more now i am happy to hear from you may i please know what calorie counter do you use also how many calories you take in a day?

You can certainly lose weight without exercise, but the pace will be slower (unless you lower your calories to a greater extent). Last year I lost 55 pounds and only started exercising after the first 50 had come off (in 10 months).
