Wink What a Day!!!!!

Hi hope everyone has had a productive day. Mine was too busy and emotional. One of those days where you can hardly meet yourself coming in the opposite direction. Had to meet with DGS school councelor, only to find out he needs summer school. An argument with his mom, chewed out by her hubby. Oh well this too shall pass. At least I didn't eat to feel better, the old me would have hit the potato chips. I've had less then 1500 calories today so far. So I am at least proud of that.:One day at a time, my dad always said "take care of today and tomorrow will take care of itself."

Hang in there! The past week has been like that for me. We'll make it through, and it's awesome that you haven't gotten off track.

I have a confession. I did hit the potato chips. Just a little. More like a love tap.

Wow, good for you staying away from the potato chips! Sounds like you had a super stressful day. Be proud of yourself for that!!

Thanks, today has been ongoing fall out from yesterday. DGS found the facebook messages that his step dad and i had been sending back and forth. Needless to say he had nothing good to say and he did it in guise of being myself. I made him call and tell them that he sent it and not me. I don't think name calling and cursing is going to resolve anything. I never called the man any names at all just stated my point of view and of course the S D got hot under the collar and started vehemently stating his opinion, so I guess DGS thought he was defending me. D D texted me a couple of times and stated her dissapointment at my being her mother. So the beat goes on. I did have a regular cheese burger at McD's don't know how many calories that was, and only about 10 fries. Otherwise I have stayed on track I probably won't eat dinner tonight. Though I feel like emptying the tortilla chips bag. I know I have to stay strong, and sending a certain young man back to my daughters would be a mistake. She may never speak to me again but if that is the price I have to pay to give someone else a decent chance in life so be it.

The "D" usually means "dear" and denotes a significant other.

DH=dear husband
DS=dear son
DD=dear daughter

So I'm guessing the "G" means grand... DGS=dear grandson.

Does that help?
