Evaluate my plan

  • Ugh! I am so messed up and in a rut. I need someone to evaluate my plan to get the next 20-30 pounds off.

I plan on consuming 1300-1500 on non exercise days.

    1500-1800 on exercise days.

    Weight training 3 times/week.

    Running/cardio 4 times a week.

I eat mostly whole foods and not a ton of meat. I only eat chicken and fish.

I am very busy- I work and I am a student so I really can only fit exercise in about every other day.

Do you guys think I am eating too little or too much for my body weight/height? I had a bad experience in the past with eating at about 1200 calories a day and less, and really don't want to get back to that so I am doing my best to stay above 1300/day.

I really thought I had this down, but I am starting to doubt myself! I would just like someone to take a look at this and see if you think it will be sufficient or I need to change something.

    Thanks!
  • At your current weight, height and age, I would guess you would lose about a pound a week on your current regimen, if not more. Nothing shabby about that.

    F.
  • It looks very solid to me. Good for you on the exercise! (I'll get around to it myself one day.) The only thing I might change is to have one number instead of several...e.g. 1500 cals every day no matter what exercise...but I would only do that to keep things simple for myself. If you don't mind switching things up, then go for it.
  • Thanks guys, for the feedback!

The only reason I want to vary the calories is because I have heard this is good to keep your metabolism going, as well as the fact that I need to keep my net calories at at least 1300.

    Hope this works!
