  • Green Tea all day, Hot and Iced a drop of honey and lemon and I know 32 oz. of water but not sure of liquid intake.Just alot of fluids.
  • I all so drink water constantly, so I probably about 3 liters a day?
I also only drink, water, black coffee and tea. I'll also have a latte most days but I count that as my snack. I pee all the time! Literally every hour.

I think it has contributed to by weight loss, in that it gets rid of water retention and that it stops me from snacking.
  • This may be TMI, but I do the pee test. If it's bright yellow or leaning towards a darker yellow then I drink a ton of water. If it's pale and bordering on clear, then I don't worry about it. There are some days when I have an exception to this, such as if I've had too much to drink the night before . Or, if I feel a little bloated and need to kinda flush my system.
The pee test is pretty accurate for me. I never feel thirsty when I do it this way.
  • I'm trying to drink as much water as I can - aiming for about 12 8 ounce glasses a day. Yes, I pee all the freaking time but my skin looks better and I think I'm losing more weight too! Also, it saves me a lot of money I would otherwise be spending on Coke Zero.

Hi.. earlier this year I joined a weight loss group, and the doctors there had us drinking a gallon of water a day... That was a huge abount of water to get used to drinking, but it sure made me feel better at the end of the day
  • I drink about 120oz a day. I also have one mug-o-tea in the morning, and usually one again right before I go to bed... so I'm likely in the 140oz range, I guess? Something like that. It's a pretty big mug, although I don't know its ounces... hhm.

Anyways, I agree with previous posters, I think it helps me stay satisfied and if it does end up helping with skin-issues, YEY for me, lol... I have no saggy skin so far, so fingers crossed !!!
  • My goal is 64oz of water a day. I have noticed a more consistent drop in pounds when I hit that goal...

^ This is what I do to It's how I know how hydrated I am in general and helps me know how much water I need to drink after a intense work out. It seems to vary day to day for me, unfortunately I am fairly sure I have a tiny bladder and usually have to pee every 10-20mins. It's rather annoying actually Oops... TMI?
  • I pee that often too! Actually, I think I've stretched my bladder out or something, lol, because I've gotten it up to 45 or so now! I'm so happy, lol...
  • I drink 4-6 32-oz glasses of iced green tea - I make three gallons a day, and the whole family drinks it. I use mint and lime to flavor, and use stevia to sweeten lightly. Drinking this much helps flush out salts, and reduces that puffy feeling after too much salt .
  • Hmm I am thinking perhaps I do not drink enough water.

I normally drink at least 2-3 DeerPark Sports Bottles ( 23.7 oz) of water a day while at work... handily refilled at the water cooler. I think that the extra times getting up to go pee or get more fluids help ( A chance to get up and stretch my legs a bit ). I make sure to drink all of the bottle before leaving for the day a weird habit I have gotten into.

I can't exactly do the pee test since I take a multi vitamin my pee is definately yellow. If I forget that is how I remember normally because it isn't yellow. I think I would have to turn into a fish to make my pee clear while taking this multi vitamin.

I have had mixed information about water in the past. I tend to drink a lot more then I eat and always have. I had a doctor tell me that to reduce swelling in my ankles I should restrict water. Then other doctors say increase the water. When I was pregnant with my daughter I drank huge amounts of liquids any juice or milk halfed with water. And I was drinking a gallon or 2 of milk a week and juice and plain water. It was a bit crazy, but I felt good and had no issues. My doctor was amazed since I was a "big girl".
