I have been on MFP for over a month. I started at 1200 calories a day. I did lose weight be was nervous about loosing lean muscle too. I started weight training to build lean muscle to improve my metabolism. This just seemed counter productive. Working out to build muscle and eat to little and burn muscle as energy. I started In place of a road map. I increased my calories to 1800/day. 30%- my TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). No more eating back exercise because its already added in. My BMR (basic Metobolic requirement) is 1760. I am happy to eat more and lose weight. I have lost 5lbs in 2wks eating more. You do not have to starve yourself to lose weight. Just eat healthy and calorie count. Take a look. IT makes sense . Oh and send friend request. Lishavr just mention 3FC in the message. :) |
I need to ramp up my cardio and strength trainng so I can increase my intake but I have a seditary job (most days) and I'm freakin LAZY, lol!
