I'm going to be bad and have beer & pizza tonight. Maybe even some dessert later. I just found out my kitty has a heart condition that will really shorten her life. I need a treat.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty - hopefully she'll enjoy all the time she has with you - make the best of those months/years, whatever it may be.

You're not being "bad" with choosing a bit of comfort for yourself tonight - it's "life" ... everything in moderation.

It breaks my heart to hear that. Yes, treat her like a princess for the time you have left with her. I love cats so much. My girl is nine years old and is laying on the desk by my keyboard right now. She means everything to me. I am so sorry for your pain.

And don't beat yourself up about finding comfort tonight. Like nationalparker says "it's life". (((Hugs)))
