I love ice cold water, & I drink 4 16.8 bottles each day;; I've just wanted a little variety in my diet as of late when it comes to drinking water. I'm not huge on diet soda, I'd rather have the real thing, so I've excluded soda all together..
I just discovered Sobe Lifewater a couple weeks ago & I lovee them. the Fiji Apple & Pear flavor is soo good. Also Vitamin water is good too, the orange flavor is my favorite .. & both have Zero calories! ..
I've also tried the Fuze Slenderize, they are okay, the Cran/Raspberry is good .. they are usually betwen 15 to 20 calories per Bottle.. [1 bottle is 1 serving size] ..
I just wanted some feedback from you ladies on what types of liquids do you drink in alternative to water? I know a lot of ppl drink tea as well ..
I am picky, I only drink bottled water (we have an 11 litre container we keep refilling) because I HATE tap water. So I have made a deal with my husband, to help cut the cost of the water, I will drink 1 bottle (my water bottle is32 oz) of tap water per day. I add Cherry Pomegranate Crystal Light to it (only 1 pouch though, as I find it too strong at full strength). In total I drink about 80-96 oz (3 litres) of water a day.
Aside from that, I have coffee in the morning, and I have a diet pop in the evening.
I like to brew a cup of tea with 2 tea bags - one ginger, one fruit flavor. When it is cool I divide it between 2 32oz. bottles I have and fill the rest up with brita water. It adds just a little taste and makes it interesting, plus the ginger is really good for you.
1) Room temperature water in a re-usable water bottle (I hate the idea of going through so much plastic bottle waste). Normally Brita but can go tap in a pinch. A sqeeze of lemon or lime does change it up.
2) Coffee (Real coffee. Not a latte or any milk and syrup based treat)
3) TEA. There's lots of variety out there!
Those are my only beverages that I drink day after day. I used to drink pop, crystal light, and all those flavoured drinks but I don't consider them to be worth it.
Target brand zero calorie drink mixes. I live by them. In fact, I only drink water at the gym anymore and drink these all the rest of the day. Cherry limeade is my favorite.
I drink a lot of tea and seltzer --> zero calories! I drink so much seltzer that I considered getting one of those at-home machines to carbonate your own water, but I don't think it's cost effective because the CO2 cartridges are pricey.
I love drinking hot green tea with a bit of lemon juice and stevia as sweetener. Quite a significant portion of my daily fluid intake comes from tea.
I also do like the SoBe life water on occasion, but I'm not too thrilled about the waste created by all the bottles. I'm going to try replacing it by making my own iced herbal tea in fruit flavors(which is basically all SoBe is) and storing it in reusable bottles for convenience.
I love mineral water (fizzy) with lime. Also Vitamin Water Zero in XXX and the Mega C are faves. I do drink my share of diet soda... And I have my skinny sugar free latte in the am. But crystal light in Raspberry Lemonade is nice to take to the gym.
Crystal light and iced tea are about all I drink lately (aside from my skinny coffee drinks from Starbucks a few times/week). I used to LOVE Diet Coke (I seriously wondered how I would get past the addiction whenever I might get pregnant), but it doesn't taste good to me anymore. Like others, I drink my Crystal light watered down, as it's too sweet otherwise. At home I make it in a pitcher at full strength, and then fill 1/4 of my water bottle with Crystal Light and the other 3/4 with tap water. At work I put 1/2 of a packet meant for a 16 oz. bottle in my 24 oz water bottle, so it's diluted to about the same amount. It total, I consume ~15 calories in crystal light each day. My husband makes awesome iced tea (he mixes flavored green tea with black tea for body), and so I have that with a touch of no calorie sweetener the rest of the time.
