Hehehe~I felt the same so I eat pizza nearly daily...Just smaller portions Unless I make my own if I do I make one for 355 calories Or a little more less depends on if I wanna add more toppings here is the basic...

I use a soft burrito/taco shell (approx 10 inches) 100 calories( I love the thin crust type)
1/4 cup of sauce~40 calories
1/2 cup of cheese 180 calories
4 pepperoni's 35 calories

Delicious ~bakes in oven in about 5 minutes on 450 Preheated for 3 to 4 minutes.!

I make pizza soup, toss a serving of Canadian bacon in a bowl, some mushrooms, chopped onion, pepper, etc. cover with tomato juice, add a generous dash of oregano and top with some mozzerella. Nuke until cheese is melted.

all good ideas. I ended up grabbing the digorno 200 calorie portions and ate one and a LARGE salad. Did the trick mostly

I just started my diet. I'm actually eating leftover Digiorno right now but I"m going to count the calories for it (no food in the house). But before I would bake a flour tortilla in the oven until crisp (spray it with olive oil first) then add sauce, cheese, and some veggies and bake until the cheese is melted. Makes a tasty very thin crust pizza.

I always make my own. I use the Boboli whole wheat pizza crust. Low sodium sauce, reduced fat cheese, and as much veggies possible.

I will eat pizza, but would take some salami off it or choose a "leaner" sort.
If I have got the time, I make one out of whole wheat flour, put on tomatoe, cheese, arugula and lean ham and spice it with a few herbs, garlic and hot pepper. hmmm..

I had a pizza craving Sunday night. I checked out the calories for a Veggie Lovers Personal Pan pizza from Pizza Hut. They only have 580 calories for the whole thing and I usually budget 600 for dinner. Also, since i knew i was wanting pizza around lunch time, I kept my other calories low for the day.

Another alternative is what I like to call a Pizza Quesadilla. You make it the same as a regular quesadilla but add a little tomato sauce and whatever toppings you prefer. I use whole grain tortillas and turkey pepperoni with a small amount of sauce and a little mozzerella. Haven't made one since I've been calorie counting so I can give a count.

Luckily I live in NY where pizza can be bought by the slice. So, when I crave pizza, I just grab a slice (all within my caloric allotment for the day) and it usually does the trick.

I eat pizza when I crave pizza (although I am taking notes on all of these home made varieties), but I'll have the thin crust with loads of veggies, and I count it and I deal with it...might take an extra walk or something

I make "pizza" on my normal whole wheat 35 calorie BREAD. I just spray some 0 calorie "butter" spray on the bread, sprinkle some garlic on that and bake it til it's crispy.....then add some 2% shredded cheese, chopped pepperoni, peppers, onions. I can easily eat 2 and usually keep them around 150 each.

I use Sara Lee 100 calorie mini bagels, a lil bit of pizza sauce, reduced fat mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of italian seasoning. Two mini pizzas equal to about 200 calories or 100 cal each. Homemade bagel bites if you will.

You can also add hormel mini sized turkey pepperoni for not too many extra cals.

Mama's Marys makes a pre-made "ultra thin" crust that is good, it can be found at the Walmart super center (here anyway) then low sugar bought or homemade pizza sauce, lots of sauteed veggies and garlic, some canadian bacon or turkey pepperoni, and some mozerella, either fresh or grated.

I also like the low carb mission tortillas, baked then topped and baked again.

I have pizza once a week, and I have throughout my weightloss journey. I have 1/4th of a digiorno ultimate pepperoni pizza for 465 calories, and just adjust the calories in my other meals & snacks to keep in my maintain range. It works for me.
