Default Can anyone help me with some math?

I've been using LoseIt on my iPod touch to track my calories, but last night my dinner labels were giving me a much different story. Can anyone give me their estimate on my calorie intake? I'd like to see how far off I am....

4 oz. haddock fillet
1 Tbsp shredded parmesean
2 cups steamed green beans
1 small baked potato (2" round)
1 piece of fat free american cheese
1 Tbsp of light sour cream

I came out with 300 even. Is that way off??

Without knowing brands or anything I get:

120 in the fillet
21 in the parm cheese
88 in the beans
128 for the potato
30 in the cheese slice
15 in the sour cream

That's 402. I would definitely trust your labels first.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to be really paranoid about eating things without labels - i.e. potatoes! LoseIt was way higher than the labels but much closer to your estimations. The fish label said 100 for one fillet. The beans said 30 per cup. But LoseIt was coming in quite a bit higher. Is it possible the evil FDA is labeling food too low?

Well, don't be paranoid about eating fresh fruits/veggies - just weigh them so you know pretty much was 4 oz of a potato is, or what is an average new potato, then go from there. Sometimes things ARE averages - from how many calories a 150-pound person burns doing X evercise to how many calories are in a product. Just do your best keeping healthy whole foods and activity in mind. Good luck.
