Default Deelish Lunch Today!!!

i jus wanted to share this with everyone:

thursdays are my butcher shop days and i have a cheeseburger and fries so i have to eat light all day bcuz that meal alone is 1080cals. anyways, today i had a michelina's lean gourmet salisbury steak meal for 190cals and 2 cups of green beans for 80cals and a diet dr. pepper.

DATS 270CALS!!!!!!

and i am full as a tick!

i was a lil scared bcuz i thought it was going to be nasty and i was prepared to drown it in hot sauce jus so i could get it down and not be hungry but boy was i wrong!!!!

now i kno i may be the only person in the entire forum that eat's michelina's meals but i live on an extremely tight budget and they fit right into it bcuz they only cost about $1.25-$1.50 a peice at the local grocery store and the lean one's make a low cal lunch when paired with veggies or a side salad.

i've been CC for about three weeks now and the one meal i didn't have any faith in turned out to be the best tasting and the lowest calorie meal so far!

thanks for reading, i hope this helps someone!

I often find myself surprised by frozen entrees. The Asian-ish ones that Lean Cuisine and Smart Ones are putting out lately have been great (especially LC lemongrass chicken and LC chicken in peanut sauce - YUM!).

I've never tried salisbury steak - I agree, it just sounds scary! Will have to give it a whirl.

The salt is a problem, but it does help with variety at work... I just can't bring myself to do the same sandwich and/or salad every day.

I like variety as well. I'll have to pick this up next shopping trip and try it! That's pretty low cal.

Glad you liked it!
