Default Does this mean I should increase my calories?

LOL

I've been generally eating under 1300/1400 (with some planned exceptions) for most of my weight loss-- about 3 months now. I had a 3 week stall, and changed up my work out routine and increased my calories to 1700 and it seemed to do the trick to get past the stall. It's been coming off slowly again, but the past few days I've been slacking a bit. PMS is not helping, and I've been around 1500-1700 every day for the past couple of days. It's melting off! In fact, I weighed less an hour after dinner tonight than I did when I woke up this morning. Dang. The body is such a mystery!

I think it's better to be losing while eating more than losing while eating less. You can always cut back if you stop losing again.

A mystery indeed! Just be happy and enjoy it because I sure as heck can't understand it!

That has happened to me before as well. Sometimes your body is just hungry! Congrats on getting that scale to move again!!

That is strange, isn't it? I noticed if I eat and average of 1550 calories or so and have a little calorie cycling I am losing just as much weight as the 1200 calorie diet my old doc put me on. I think I might be about 1/2 pound a week +/- but last week was a 4 lb loss week so I am not complaining. But still, go figure...
