Just a quickie...but I wanted to report that my unofficial WI this morning was good! After only losing 1/2 lb last week, I've lost another 1.5 since Sunday...so I think I finally got rid of the water weight from eating too much sodium on Saturday.

I will wait until Friday (trying to make Friday my "official" WI day from now on) to change my ticker. Hoping for another 1/2 lb and I can change my avatar to -65! But right now I am enjoying (unofficially, at least...lol), being 209.5. I can't believe I am in the two-oh-somethings and ONEderland is just around the corner!!

Hello everyone!

I lost another pound but, I ate a bit much today(2260 calories) I was cleaning the house and walking everywhere cause our car is in the shop getting fixed. I walked to the market and carried home all the groceries myself. I do this all the time, I like to do it, great exercise. If the bags aren't too heavy I curl them while I'm walking. My husband and son said I'm getting guns! I've been getting compliments from strangers too, asking me if I work out cause I look like I'm in great shape. It's so strange to hear that from people when you have been fat your whole life. It almost feels like it's not real, cause I don't see it myself when I look in the mirror. I guess I didn't totally realize it til now!

Good Morning girls,

Im fighting those TOM cravings. Im not due until next week:?: Anyways, I need to do weights today but I think i will do a long power walk + some yoga. My legs are looking more toned than ever, gotta be the walking!!! I have time to get my weights in this week, its only Wednesday.

My calorie intake this week has been higher than normal, not exactly something to be proud of but at least im not over eating without any thought (like i would normally do) im trying to keep it under control:) So far the scale is only up 2lbs and like i said, TOM is right around the corner.

I will try and bbl with some personals!

Good Morning Ladies,
I'm having a rough start. I was leaving for work and fell down the stairs. My elbow has a gash in it and it hurts like heck. I didn't get my Slim in 6 in this morning so I will get it done this evening along with my walk on the treadmill which is did yesterday evening. I was sore from the Slim in 6 workout from the past couple days and now the fall added some extra. Then I got stuck in Atlanta Traffic with was a beast this morning. Depending on how I feel at lunch will determine if I workout. I don't have lunch today because I need to go grocery shopping. I will need to figure out what I will eat if I go workout. ARRRRGGGG!!!

It will get better though. I feel so out of sorts.

I hate falling, i always feel so mixed up emotionally when i fall. I hope your doing ok now!
I couldn't imagine dealing with ATL traffic, ugh. I live in the boonies (carroll county) but whenever we go through atl my anxiety rises due to the traffic:dizzy: Were going to the braves game this weekend (speaking of traffic) and my DH will have to drive:^: have a good workout later

Jiggle ~so proud of the garage sale purchase! I love yard sales! WOOHOOO! Way to go! ~sorry to hear u fell. I had a falling thing happen to me back a month or so ago & I fell 2 times within 2 days...I was full of bruises & Pain ~could not exercise for several days.....I think as we lose weight sometimes our balance gets different maybe....~HUGS TO GET WELL SOON~

Updates:
My daughter decided to switch from goth to Normal look...She was pretty before but beautiful now~I though the black look suited her well which it did (But is was so gloomy)~She is one hot momma in girlie stuff now...& digging in my closets ~lord help me! (I wanna scream with every headband she wears of mine LOL~I love my headbands LOL~But her more so she has been wearing them...Took her to a thrift store today...They was having 10 cent day~so We got 90 cents worth of stuff...Although I admit I got me 2 belts & a pair of cool shoes for next spring/Summer~LOL~& I got one of my sons a coat ~looked like new he needed one for this year...She got 4 tops & 1 skirt. I felt bad for her cause she was moping cause she was hoping to find a bit more... so I took her to the local Family dollar (to the sales racks first of course LOL) We got 2 shirts for $1.00 a piece solid turquoise blue & hot pink one ~t-shirt vneck type...Just plain but pretty~then we got 1 That cost me $6.00(OH MY ~LOL) But she said I could borrow it....Cause I do not get along with my mom & We thought that since she is always snooping (my mom) in my facebook~that maybe I should wear it on my next profile pic LOL!~it says" if you think I am crazy you should see my mother"~LOL Of course my daughter & I get along great but thought it was hilarious! She said it wouldn't hurt your feelings if I got it would it mom~i said heck no! I am a bit crazy~LOL!(plus moms are lame to there kids anyways when there 17) She can wear it with pride~At least when she wears it I will know she was thinking of me LOL! Anyways....I am way behind on everything so gotta keep this short as possible...WILL POST AGAIN SOON!

OH as for me...Still on my newest plan trying to maintain & tone
Still hanging on at 144 to 143 in weight No big deal though~Thats part of my plan~I am losing inches which is what I am wanting to do from the belly ~woot woot! Slowly but surely.~HUGS TO ALL!

OH & my boys are doing great & the hubby Is on new meds for his RA so were hopeful.~TTYL!

Hey all,

Not feeling well today, actually called in sick this morning! Slept until almost 11, which is what I think my body needed. I feel a little better now, but not 100% yet. Still planning on doing some sort of exercise today...I'm thinking my 2 mile WATP will do, especially if I take it easy on the arm movements and skip the hand weights today.

Jiggle: hope you recover soon from your fall! I am NOT looking forward to winter with its icy steps and sidewalks! At least I don't have to deal with big city traffic up here, lol.

Lori: aren't teenagers and their "phases" so funny sometimes? From goth to girly, lol.

Everyone else: hope you're all staying a bit healthier and uninjured than Jiggle and I are!

I didn't go to the gym for lunch. I am very sore. I have been moving around a lot so that my muscles don't settle and stiffen up on me. I probably won't be working out tonight either. I don't want to aggravate anything and be worse off. I did tell my supervisor I may stay home tomorrow. I have a pain in my shoulder now. I've been replaying the fall over and over to see if I can determine what happened and what I hit when I fell. I just know I'm not feeling like I want to. I can't rest my elbow on my desk because it hurts REALLY BAD.

Northern - I don't miss the snow and ice!!! Hope you feel 100% sooner than later. I'm going to rest my body so that I can get back in the game all the way.
Lori - Of course you were my motivation for the garage sale venture I was on Saturday...THANKS! You are such the inspiration in more ways than I can count!!! Did you move yet?
Misspriss - That's exactly how I feel.."mixed up emotionally" and my body hurts as well. I can't remember the last time I fell anywhere.

I will be checking in because it keeps me on track with my eating.

Jiggle...Went to look at the inside of the other house awhile back & the inside was horrifying...Was so mad at the realtor that I decided I am never moving from here..Me & the kids can keep the lawn mowed if needed somehow or I will pay someone to do it if the hubby gets to where he is unable to keep up with it.I love it here anyways & Feel blessed to have my dream old farm house I always wanted....Just needs a little updating..Nothing major been working on it gradually(.Within 4 years we have painted some of the inside..placed in brand new total floors int he dining room & kitchen~Redone the bathroom enough to keep us at ease until we can really get to it...Placed a whole new roof on the house ~got amega tree cut down That was ruining the roof~repaired a broken windo~Put in brand new back patio doors. & Redid the whole water lines in the house...Had a brand new furnace place in 2 years ago & Done 1000's of dollars of landscaping...)~Anyways so not moving....Which is a good thing I hope.I am stuck on this house anyways~I love it here I was just freaking out over the freaky ex boyfreind of My daughter & My hubbys RA...I was over reacting.
Anyways..~So glad I inspired the yard sale stop~I love yard sales! If it wasn't for them & thrift stores I would have stayed broke & dressed awful with all my weight loss....They saved me a small fortune!Cause I could not have afforded brand new clothes and did everything else we needed. ~Anyways I am off to bed super sleepy gotta pay some bills tomorrow before the first of the month rush starts...& hopefully I have a pleasant tomorrow & Everyone else on here does too~HUGS Y'all!

Hey ladies, only 1 day without posting and I already feel a little lost!

Keeping on track in preparation for my birthday, which I know will be a cheat day. Still no loss, which is annoying but I can't do much at the moment. Have been keeping up the exercise and tracking all my calories.

About to make myself a chicken/zucchini/mushroom/tomato dish for dinner, home alone tonight!

Bought myself a new bra today, finally, shocked at the size of it. RIDICULOUS!

I can relate, i have not been myself for over a week now:( My calories have been at least 300-500 over everyday...ARG.....ARG I say(ar, like a pirate :lol: ).

bigmama-5lbs a week is a pretty aggressive weight loss. hope everything works out for ya!

Rainbowstripe -Ridiculous in a good way or bad way? Your Supper sounded delish! Im sure your weight loss will come..if nothing happens soon maybe try increasing/decreasing your cals or including strength training (sorry if you already do it, ifso, go heavier) add more intensity to your workout routine. Those are some things that helped with my plateaus (sorry if I over stepped on the advice)

Lori-How are you feeling? I can totally understand not being able to afford new clothes. We live on one income and its so hard to budget bills,food,house supplies & clothes on that. ARG (like a pirate :lol: ) I think i have the pirate theme going on today?

(more pirate talk, sorry off my rocker today :dizzy: ) "off t' get me walk done then me full body weight liftin in. will talk t' all you lasss later."

I did my official weigh in yesterday and didn't get a chance to pass. I am down... .4 lbs per usual. I know I could be doing more to make it go down faster but I'm just happy its going down and not up! :) But I don't think I'm gonna hit 199 by Columbus day.

Checking in because I haven't done so in a while! Unfortunately, I've stopped doing 30DS because level 1 got too boring but I wasn't flexible enough for level 2 yet. I've started going to the gym again though! I do 30 minutes of cardio and then a full body strength workout. I'm aiming for 3-4 times a week. My weight is creeping down. I weighed in at 165.0 this morning. I still have 5.1 lbs to go to reach my goal weight of 159.9 for this challenge.

misspriss- don't be too hard on yourself, I was over my limit by 1000 cal. or more for two days, it's so hard to just stop now. We will bounce back!!

I gained 2.8 lbs. so far, this is the third day I have been craving chocolate & peanut butter. I wanted it first thing this morning, so I had 1/2 serving of Fat Free French Chocolate ice cream & 1 tsp. of natural peanut butter before I had breakfast. It made my breakfast 80 calories more, but at least I am satisfied, cravings went away!

I've been doing similar things. My dh brought home some fruity pebbles and they smelled so good and i thought "why not have a bowl as long as i counted the calories" and i did, it got rid of the craving. I always consider processed food a #1 enemy but if eating a little bit gets rid of those nasty cravings then so be it.

Hello to everyone. just a quick check in. 2mile powerwalk this morning followed by a Full Body weight lifting workout. I was able to do 15 pushups on my toes...that progress:carrot:

I am doing good. I have fallen off a little and picked myself back up. I managed to lose 3.4lbs in September with an ending weight of 167.0. Not near my 162 that I wanted to see for Columbus Day. I have done pretty good today so I am hoping for some type of loss in the morning to start October off with a smile.

Lori love your pictures you look great. Hoping to get there one day :hug:

Jiggle I hope to find a good buy on a treadmill one day, looks like that's the only way I'm gonna get one :)

MissPriss Thank you for the advice, not overstepping at all! The bra size was ridiculous just in a weird way... I got measured and told I was an E cup. My boobs do not look like that at all haha, I've been wearing Cs and Ds. You're probably right about the strength training, I haven't been doing any because I was waiting til I lost a bit more weight and felt more comfortable, but I guess it's just excuses - I also don't know how to do it at home.


In good news - my weight has finally dropped! Overnight no less. Feels good to know I wasn't completely stuck.

Cheat day tomorrow as it's my birthday, but I'm still going to try to stick to healthier choices when we go out for meals and limit my alcohol intake at my party tomorrow night.

My boyfriend is attempting to make a 3D Totoro cake today...I am scared for him, he's never made a cake before in his life, let alone a 3D frosted character!

I do have to say I love the pirate attitude out of misspriss, lol! You should keep rockin' it for Halloween!

I am feeling a bit better today, which is good because we're scheduled to take our last camping trip of the season this weekend! So far the weather and fall colors have been beautiful. Need to take advantage of it before it gets too cold. I hate winterizing the camper for the season...such a sad day!

I once went to Maidenform and asked them it they had a 42A the young lady looked at me and said no ma'am the smallest cup for a 42 is a C, well I am clearly not and never will be a C. LOL, that's a wish :D. Congrats on your scale moving :)

I walked three miles yesterday and went to the dr. but wasn't prepared for the diagnosis!! He said I have a mild concussion and need to stay home from work and do nothing. No reading, workingout, very little tv and no THINKING. I asked what I could do and he said rest your brain...REALLY!! Of course as you all can see I'm not following dr's orders! I have to go get a back x-Ray today and if it goes well I will do a mile on the treadmill. I have to get my baby ready to go to daycare and will check in later.

As for me: WI was great today! I was hoping to be down 1/2 lb since my unofficial WI on Tuesday, but I was down 1.5!! 2.5 left to meet my challenge goal. That gives me 10 days...I'm going to push for it! (Going camping this weekend, so calories will probably be on the high side...but next weekend hubby is out of town, so I can make up for it by final WI that following Monday!)

Anyhoo...I will be offline this weekend enjoying the great outdoors, so everyone have a good one!!

Good evening everyone. Had a good workout at the gym, and there is a job opening at the gym at the front desk and ive inquire about it. What a better places to work and do my workout. Would be nice. I havent worked in 21 years it would be a little odd I think. They proably want someone younger then me for that job. They have mention to me about becoming an instruter for water arobics but dont think im that good yet. Hope all have a good weekend. :wave:

Did good today, the scale scared the sh** out of me this morning. 110.2!
It just keeps going up, I don't get it. Yesterday I had like 1360 cal. & today 1260. It must have been that small amount of processed food yesterday, yes my body is that sensitive to crappy food. I had no processed food today, so we will see what happens. Going away for a few days to Atlantic City, I'm taking all my own food and staying away from junk. Miss you all!!

Hey all! I haven't stopped in in a while, how is everyone doing?!

Had my very first weigh-in yesterday since Sept 15th, I'm down 12lbs! This challenge helped me set up some priorities =D I'm loving it!

Good morning,
I didn't do the treadmill yesterday and ate a bunch of junk. Well today will be a better day. My goals for this challenge was to stay in my calorie range and I didn't do that. So next challenge will be to loose some inches and fit nice in the tankini top I bought for the cruise.

On a side note: those pills the dr gave me make me sleepy REAL fast. I can't be taking those and going anywhere.

Hey guys! I actually have signal out here in BFE, lol. I only went a few calories over in spite of several adult beverages by the campfire last night. Took a nice walk in the woods this afternoon. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!!
