Misspriss~:hug:Thanks so much girl!~Oh & if I could find a cheap way to send them then All those clothes would be yours! I am about 185 right now, so my goal is to lose 6 lb and get back into the 170s!!! Also to work out at least 3-4x per week! :)

Okay so I ran yesterday, this morning I got in my 45 minute walk and have a ride scheduled with my horse buddy tomorrow morning! On track so far! And this morning the scale said 163.4! Yay! So maybe that 1 to 1.5 lb bounce I have been having is GONE because I HATE it! Come on 150s! Going to Oklahoma this weekend for the Florida State v. Oklahoma football game (don't ask -the things we do for our DHs) so that will be a challenge but I am up for it!

My hubby isn't into football but if he was I still wouldn't watch it :lol: Lori- We are a month into dance classes and she seems to like them. I'm glad shes into something active. Shes super excited to be in chorus again this year too! I'm happy to be back and looking forward to getting back where I'm supposed to be. Maybe a 3fc cruise :D that would be so fun! I'm about an hour away from a port too! So today I have a super sinus headache... I can't find any sinus meds that work..Exercise isn't going to happen if I can't get it to go away but will stay on plan no doubt about it ;) ... Anyone know of any brand of sinus meds that actually work... or maybe that just don't work on me :( |
I did not get up to jog this am, I was actually able to sleep in until 6:15 am. I guess staying up and reading text books until 1am is good for something. :) My legs have been tired the last few days, so I was due for a rest day. I can go to bed early tonight, so hopefully I will be nice and rested for a good jog tomorow.
I have been wondering why I was so bloated and then TOM started today. I was thinking that I had cursed myself for setting such a high goal for weightloss. Hopefully in a few days all this bloat will go away. |

Yesterday ended up being a 45min power walk and that's it, i was beat..just tired all day. I even went to bed early. Today was a 35minute step aerobic + 30 min Upper body heavy weights (click on the link for a pre-view from youtube). I wasn't really motivated for some reason but i made myself get dressed and get it over with. Felt great when i was done. Total time was 63mins and Burned 490 calories all together. *pats herself on the back* I've got some pretty good news! I'm seriously thinking about joining a gym this weekend!!:D I've been working out at home for the past 5yrs so this is going to be a lot different then what im use to! ok, sorry to ramble on...everyone have a great day:hug: |
Not really happy unfortunately - still stuck at 78.5 kilograms (173 pounds). It's so frustrating, I really hadn't hoped to hit a plateau this soon but am trying not to call this a plateau just yet... Also TOM is about to happen - but I kind of thought that since I'm on the pill and skip it sometimes, it wouldn't have so much of an effect on my weight/water retention as it would for those who just have natural periods.
On a positive note, have kept my calories at around the same number every day this week. I am always good with calorie counting, but this week I am trying to stick to the same number every day pretty much. |
Hi everyone! I see everyone is doing great. I feel good about myself also. Went to the dr. today and i'm going down again. I was 263 by the dr. scale mine says 262 so thats close enough. He measured my waist and it was 45
and my hips measured 56. And I'm wearing size 24 in everything so got to clean out the closet again. The doctor seem to be proud of what I lost told me to keep it up and walk, walk, walk. I'm rather do water arobics tho. Thats more fun. No pain. But when I walk its very painfull but i'm going to try to do the tredmill. Since we only have 1 month and 4 days with this challenge, I will go for 5 lbs in this challenge. OK I did 90 minutes of water arobics this morning but I still want to do some excercises this evening so going to get off here and get busy. HEEELLLLLOOOOOOOOOO I'm excited. I got my calories in today and I'm at 1305 calories for the day. I'm sooooo excited. I didn't workout today because I was cleaning the house and running errands.
:woohoo::woohoo: We are going to have a great challenge and I don't want anyone to be hard on themselves if you have a bad day or don't reach your goal. As long as you work your plan and your body you will be farther along than when you first started. I'm really feeling good about this challenge. I know anything can happen at any moment but we are able to keep going and get to goal. Bigmama - :carrot::carrot:Congrats on the progress. Keep going because the next time you go to the dr. there will be a really big surprise for the dr. By the by I cleaned my closet out today and took everything to Goodwill. Rainbow - Stay within your calorie range and it will be well. You will probably get a good whoosh after TOM. Misspriss - Go ahead and join the gym. You will be super motivated and people will see you working out and get inspired. Sometimes a trainer will wander through and make great suggestions!! WIN-WIN! Love2b - It's all good. It will be only a couple of days and you'll be talking about a big loss. You are going to make everyday of this challenge count. No matter which way your body toggles it will land on the right side of the scale!!! Envelope - High goals are great because you either reach it and go bananas or you miss it by a few and are still in a good place to celebrate. Lori - When I said hippy...I was talking about my hips and they are trying to buck the system but I will not be denied my size 10. Happy evening everyone and I will check in after my workout tomorrow. I've been fighting a cold and have had a sinus headache but I took some ALEVE D and it's working well. But when it wears off, I feel miserable. By the by...I tried some cough drops because I have these coughing spells and what to my curious mind should appear but the calories in those things. 15 whole calories in one cough drop. Well I calculate it in my total for the day but I was hoping for like 5. I don't have the sugarless ones because I bought them last year when I wasn't concerned about calories!! Okay now I'm rambling...that happens when I finish a coaching session. I have so much fun as a life coach it's what I was born to do. Good Night Ladies!!! |
Lori- thanks, that's alot of exercising to do after a walk. I power walk for at least 40 min. & I make sure I get a second walk in after 6pm. after dinner everyday. I don't know if my knee could handle all that. You look great, I would sure like to try it.
I have been eating way too much for the past 2 days. I will gain alot, I know it. I feel so embarrassed when I look at my calorie amounts for yesterday and today. I'm going to try riding my stationary bike tonight, see if it helps. Tomorrow it's back to work, that's always good for losing weight. |

Or have u Lorra?OH for the sinus headache maybe try ibuprofen ~my son takes it for his migraines & it helps within 15 mins to 30 mins. Then for the rest of the day.Or maybe ~when u have time to sleep try benadryl allergy meds ~they say they work well. I am just happy He gets to hold him in his arms now cause he never got over losing my brother....So Today is In Memory Of my Dad ~Edgar Case & My Brother Edward Allen Case.(When its my time to leave this earth(hopefully when I am alot older than I am now) I will get to be with u both again ~OH & this aint a pity party moment its a feel good moment for me...I think I am finally at peace with my dads sudden passing 3 years later from a sudden massive heart attack...And my little brother approx 23 years later.May the both R.I.P.May I never listen to Green Days ~"Wake me up when September Ends" song again which he wrote about his dads passing(most people think it was to do with 9-11) And cry in misery Cause my dad Would wanna see me smiling as much as possible & cry only happy tears always.. I've seen other sites do meetings before... I guess it just takes members willing to go and some planning of course. Don't worry you don't have to know how to swim to go on a cruise.. I use to be scared at the thought of going on a big huge boat of the middle of the ocean but some friends got me to go on a gambling cruise boat that only went out for the night and it was awesome. Knowing that I was only a few miles from port helped getting me on the boat but I had so much fun I didn't even think about it. The only time you realize your in the middle of the ocean is when you go on the deck. Its so pretty you can't stay off of it if you tried;) The hubby likes to fish.. we did go a lot when we were first married and Cam was little. We haven't been in so long though. Now that you have to have a fishing license for any kind of fishing and we haven't wanted to spend the money on all of us getting one. In FL it use to be fishing in salt water (as long as your on shore and not in a boat) you didn't need one now it doesn't matter fresh or salt boat or not .. Darn it! Can't even fish for free anymore :lol: You know I looked at the benadryl this morning and thought about it but thought I would go for the meds that looked about gone... that usually means it works..Nope not the case for me. I do have advil that works with any other headache I have.. I should have took that just for the pain. Didn't want to be left with the sinus pressure though and I don't think it's safe to take both. What do I know.. I just want it to go away. Poor hubby I was grumpy all day and he was still nice enough to baby me... after I made dinner of course :lol: You and my Cam would get a long so good.. Shes loves to sing too. Even with her being shy shes doesn't mind singing her heart out in front of everyone :D As I said I didn't get any exercise in but did run all around town hitting all the sales and running some errands. Came home and crashed right after dinner... then I'm up at 2am wide awake :eek: I've wasted about an hour online now I better get moving and get those dishes I left in the sink done ;) Have a good morning ladies :wave: |
Thanks @ jigglefree, Lori and Losing4another for the support, I know the scale isn't actually the real reason I'm down - trouble is I don't know why I am! Started crying today for no reason a couple of times. Forced myself to do some exercise but only managed about 14 minutes before I got completely fed up and annoyed. Something was making a weird clicking sound in my leg/ankle and I was just feeling really angry. So I stopped.
Kept within my calories today again - and allowed myself a couple of mini choc/mint biscuits and a small serve of low fat icecream (accounted for of course) just because I felt like I really needed it. Played some video games with the boyfriend and am looking to hopefully wake up feeling more positive tomorrow morning! |

Have you ever checked out calorie cycling, I have heard that it can really help break a plataue, or prevent one. As for being down :hug:. I get really snippy and emotional for about 4 days starting a few days before my TOM starts, and it drives me crazy. I just hate the way it makes me feel. bigmamatexas WoooHoooo, you are doing wonderful. jigglefree Cleaning house and running errands can be a workout in itself. :smug: It is great to find a career that you love. I worked for 18 years at a company, and while I enjoyed the people I worked with, it did not inspire me. When the time came to look for a new job I allowed myself the time to figure out what I would love doing! fruitlady Walking 2 times a day is great! It is a new day, and the great thing about that is you get a start fresh. :) Lori259 You remembered right, my birthday 2 days before Columbus Day. :hug: My dad died unexpectedly on Thanksgiving in 2006. It is weird how certain dates repeat through our lives. My husband and I got married on Nov. 28th 1987, our son was baptized at the same church on Nov. 28th 1999, and my dads funeral took place their too on Nov. 28th 2006. Losing4another :( I hope you are feeling better. Sinus headaches are horid. I had heard that the ragweed would be really bad this year, so I made sure that my kids and I have been taking our allergy meds on a regular basis and so far I have not had a sinus headache this season. Knock on wood! I plan on studying most of the day and then I have a class this evening. It is the one class that I have to drive up to the main campus for. Luckily the 1 hour 45 minute commute goes quickly since I carpool with my friend, and the time passes quickly. |
