Default any one try starbucks new healthy choices snack trays?

SOOO GOOD!I forgot my packed lunch I always take with me to work and as so bummed because I thought I'd just have to go hungry till I got home well i stopped by Starbucks to get me a iced green tea and I saw they had these new snack trays! today I got the whole wheat pita with grilled chicken on it. a little tub of hummus, carrot sticks cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes! all for only 250 cals!filled me up just fine! and the hummus was soo good so creamy it almost reminded me of egg salad fro some reason but in a good way!it was like a healthy lunchable!

they have another protein plate thats 370 cals it comes with a hard boiled egg, cheese, a little biscuit apple slices and some grapes! they also a fruit and nut tray which looks good but it's about 460 cals so I think I'll pass on that

They don't have a veg*n one, so no, I haven't tried it but I am glad they have good options for you! In general, Starbucks is really branching out in terms of healthy options and I'm glad for that.

I am too! I was just looking at their website and was surprised to find many reasonable calorie options to eat!

I think Starbucks deserves a shout-out just for posting their calories so prominently. At least at the ones here in MD, they have the calories for all their drinks right up on the big board, and for all the pastries, right there on the labels in the case. For all the prepared foods, it's right on the FRONT of the packaging. You don't have to ask a manager, you don't have to go hunting for a brochure or look online before you go... it is all right there. So very nice. I wonder if it has affected their sales?

Glad to see them posting. I go usually once a week with DD. Get a grande cap in a cup & saucer with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Thanks for posting these. I just looked them up on their website. I don't have a starbucks near me but I do have a great whole wheat pita recipe... i think I might try to make some mini ones and make some of these trays myself for lunch when I'm out and about. so thanks for the great idea!!!

I work at a Starbucks. They really are trying to make healthier options. You can protein+whey powder to blended or hot drinks (it gets steamed with your milk.) The light frappuccinos are awesome, a tall coffee frap is 80 cal, tall caramel is 90 and tall mocha is 100. They're good too.

I'm a fan of the plates too. The chicken and hummus is my favorite <3

The other thing too, a lot of the pastries can get super high calorie, but they've changed the recipes so that they're using "real" ingredients at least, butter, eggs, cream. Instead of all that can't pronounce it crap.
