I weigh daily, record weekly. ANd really, if I were better at tracking, I should put it into a spreadsheet and do a weekly average weight instead of the weight of that day of the week that I record. That gives you a more accurate assessment to compensate for those little ups and downs during the week.
Also - during TOM, I weigh daily just to keep a heads up - but I do not record. I'll take that week off instead because I know it is artifically inflated. Don't let that mentally get to you. I can easily go up 3 to 5lbs during TOM, it can start a couple days ahead of time and last for 2-3 days of my cycle, so the increase can last 5 to 7 days for me. Don't let the daily fluctuations get to you, but don't get too complaicent with them either, as that could be how weight slowly creeps back on. If an increase on the scale lasts more than 3 days AND its not near/during Tom AND you have already increased water intake and gone to the bathroom, then you can start worrying. Otherwise, if its just a one day thing - drink plenty of water and make a mental note as tothe last time you went to the bathroom. |
Weekly or I would lose my mind.
