How many calories can you approximate this to? It's a grilled chicken caesar, but I got no croutons, and I used red wine vinegar instead of the creamy caesar dressing. I also eyeballed the chicken that I ate to be between 1.5-2 oz. I'm guessing that the amount of lettuce in the salad was about 7-10 BIG romaine leaves. It also had a bit of grated cheese on it, but it was very powdery and I tried to eat around most of it. It probably wasn't more than a tablespoon or two or three, but a lot of it was at the bottom of the salad, which I didn't eat. My mom says 200 at most. Is she right?
Hi ElanaRose,
here's the information I got using Fatsecret (Iphone application):
2oz boneless Chicken breast- 52 cals
Romaine Lettuce leaves-8 cals
Red Wine vinegar (depends on the brand check the serving size in the label but it has very few calories
Cheese-You don't mention what type of cheese and the amount so difficult to give you an estimate. In any case, go easy on the cheese since it has so much fat.
Overall looks like a very sensitive dinner!!
I see that we are both within the same weight range, I am 5'2, 120lbs with a small frame. Unfortunately I can't follow your recipe since I am a vegetarian!!!
Cheers,
Caribbean Girl
It was grated Parmesan as far as I know, and I'm guessing it was probably two tablespoons. But that's pretty tentatively.
