So question, when you first started to calorie count did you notice you lose weight then...it stalls for about 1 week.. Will it kick up again? i mean if your just consistent?

I don't lose the same amount every week. But I do lose. I'm not sure if that's what you're asking? If you go for several weks and don't lose, then you probably need to make an adjustment somewhere. But don't expect to lose a lot, or even a little every single week. You might lose 3 lbs one week, then 1 the next, then nothing, then 2...and so on.
I started my diet modification on 2/20 at 255 pounds.
The first seven weeks I lost 22 pounds. (3.14 lbs per week)
Then for 11 days I only lost 1 pound.
Since then (this past week & a few days) I've lost 6 pounds.
My daily average during those 11 days was about only 50 calories more a day than I have been eating this past week. The only thing I can figure was different in that 11 days is that I was in the process of moving during that time period and I was more stressed and doing more physical labor.

I would say it depends on how long your stall is and what you are doing. It would be helpfull to know that. But for me, if I have a stall, a higher calorie day will usually help. I may weigh more the very next day, but then I will always go down. Then I go back to my usual. However, my usual does include a higher calorie day at least once per week (not a binge day, just like 3-500 calories higher - if I am normally eating 1200 cals. I will eat 1700 or something like that).
oh ok very cool thats kinda what i've been doing... and the times i forget to go higher.. i stall for a week to week and half. maybe thats the trick is giving your self a day or 2 a week to up your intake
I have been stuck for 2 weeks now after 3 months of consistant losing. This coming week I am upping the excercise by adding a walk before work and also upping the veggies. I think I might have been slacking a bit with how precisely I have been tracking my food. I guess I will see in a week or 2.
For the last month or so I've lost but inconsistently and haven't changed my calories really. I'm still losing, just not every week. I'll go like a week then drop 3 pounds in a day, that kind of thing.
